I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very hospitable and recommended some wonderful eateries, which were all within walking distance. We had a nice view of the river from our room which was very comfortable and quite spaceous. While there were three of us in this room, we could have turned cartwheels, if necessary, without injuring each other. On this trip to Canada, this was one of my favorite places. Now, I had to give a rating for the restaurant/dining below before this survey would be recognized. I gave a three, but no one ate there, so I cannot give a valid accessment. I would have checked "no opinion" if that were available.

Convenient location. The whole place seemed very stale, no atmosphere, just heavy and oppressive. This hotel was very convenient as we were traveling back from Halifax and it was on the way. We got a reasonable deal via Priceline. This hotel smacked of faded glory and better days. It was relatively clean, but the whole thing was very old fashioned and stale. There was no atmosphere at all.

Really a very nice hotel. Rooms were very spacious, and beds were great. We were right downtown - safe and secure. Close to all sightseeing. Staff were very kind. Breakfast buffet was a real treat, and their staff were awesome. Great place to stay if you are sightseeing in Fredericton. Well recommended!

It was clean and close to the attractions and bars. Not much parking for the size of the hotel.

We had a great time, the room made our stay!!

The history. The parking lot was flooded and tiny. My wife and I wanted a get away and it suited our romantic get away needs.

Location. Small room (older hotel). Would have been a nice stay, but I had to check out before spending the night due to the weather forecast.

Location. Rear parking was inconvenient and far from door.

Location is excellent. Cigarette smoke was strong on non-smoking floor.

Next to the playhouse theatre which we were attending. Parking wasn,t the greatest.

They put us in one of the 2 worst rooms in the hotel. It was a little cave with only a small interior window. Awful. The hotel room was terrible. They stuck us with the worst room and I believe they had other rooms available.

It felt very luxurious when entering. (Aside from the construction). Construction and entrance to the hotel.

It was located in the heart of the city. This hotel is located in the heart of the city. Everything was within walking distance. The rooms were very spacious and very comfortable. I'd stay here again.

Enjoyed the hotel for its location in the downtown area near restaurants and pubs. I felt the room was a little small and the restaurant was a little expensive. The location of this hotel puts it in the 3-star class. Without the convenient location I would rate it a 2.

This hotel exactly complies with a three star hotel. Staff should have indicated that breakfast is served in the dining room. My children liked the indoor swimming pool.

Staff friendliness. Old and renovated but still an old building. Can't open windows. Well located in downtown Fredericton with comfortable rooms. Newly renovated with some old style charm. Very friendly staff.

Great proximity to all points of interest. Nothing. Leave your car at the hotel and walk short distances to all attractions including the river walk, great museums, free tours, free music, and a variety of good restaurants.
