This hotel is very convieniently located for LaGuardia airport. It offers a free shuttle service to the terminal departing every 20 minutes from 4:00am daily. The staff were friendly and attentive. My room was comfortable and well equipped. Internet services were available via cable or wireless access. I would stay here again without hesitation.

I travel all around the US and I did not see anything wrong with this hotel. What i did see was that the staff was extremely accomodating and friendly! The restaurant was wonderful and the food great... very tasty... they have an outdoor patio that I cant wait to dine on when i return. The bedding was very comfortable, I heard no noise and you can use the eye masks and the ear plugs they give you in the little kit they give you - but i did not have to use it ...I did use the lavendar spray..which I thought was a nice touch...This hotel is very nice, convenient and great for me..I plan to go back a few days a week for the next 6 months! I can not say in words how greatly we appreciated the staff assistance with our stay at the Crowne. I recommend any one who goes to NY for the first time to stay at the Crowne as it is convenient to all touring and the staff will help guide you in the right direction as to where you would like to go. We had staff help us map out our subway and bus ride to get from point a to point b.The rooms were clean and the housekeeping was great.they came in daily and cleaned our room made our beds and treated us so kindly. We took a tour from the hotel that lasted all day saturday it was awesome! The guide was knowledgeable and he took the time to really show us a good time.So once again Thank You [...] (Employee at Crowne) and [...] the tour guide they made our trip wonderful! Thanks Guys!God Bless you all!

This hotel is near LaGuardia airport. It is convenient for business traveler. It has parking. The service needs improvement. They could not find my reservation. After 30 minutes wait, they found my reservation and managed to find me a room. At the continental breakfast, the service staff were unfriendly even surly. My room was small, noisy, in poor repair with questionable cleanliness. It had the faint smell of raw sewage. All in all, I like the convenient location, but would not stay at this hotel until it is rennovated and improved.

Located not too far from the new Mets stadium. Needs a refresh a total refresh. Location is good, however the hotel needs a revamp. Rooms are out dated and the smoking floor is the 3rd floor smoke rises. Bar staff was pretty good and food was OK/Not bad.

hotel workers are striking and I felt very awkward staying in this place

This hotel appears from the outside to be a nice place to stay but its actually old and outdated, the staff was nice and professional, the room service was very good and arrived in a timely manner. But there is no free breakfast unless your on the club level, the gift shop is super overpriced and most of the snacks their are stale or expired and don't by your metro pass from there since they won't work after one use. The free airport shuttle took an hour to pick us up arriving and we had to pay for a town car to return to the airport since the shuttle left without us. The bell and doormen was MIA everytime. So in other words I wouldn't stay there again

Check in was normal but not memorable. As soon as we got onto our floor the intense tobacco smell was horrible and it even got worse as soon as we entered our room. We immediately called the front desk so we can transfer to a non-smoking room which was what we requested to begin with. We were on hold for 10 minutes so we hung up and went straight downstairs to the front desk with all of our luggage. The front desk attendant told us that the hotel was sold out and that he can have the room sprayed for us and we told him that regardless we couldn't stay in that room because of the strong penetrating odor and our allergies. He then started to check his computer and mentioned to us that since we got a package deal with Orbitz that we basically had to take whatever they gave us. We felt like second rate customers. He ended up giving us a parlor room without a window, with only 1 full size MURPHY BED and a dirty bathroom with a ring around the toilet. This "sold out" hotel had 3 elevators but only 1 was working. This was very inconvenient. One night we had to pick up some tickets that we left in our room and we had our friends waiting for us in the car. We waited a while for the elevator and when we finally were able to go up to our room, our room key didn't work. We had to WAIT AGAIN for the elevator, get our key reprogrammed, WAIT AGAIN for the elevator, get our tickets, WAIT AGAIN and finally get out of there. What was supposed to be a fast 5-10 minute activity turned out to be a 30 minute ordeal. There was not much of a choice for dining either. On Sunday morning, around 11AM I went downstairs to get a cup of coffee and something small to eat. Their little convenience store was closed. The only choice that was available was the buffet. I asked the lady if I can order a la carte and she said that I could order room service but I couldn't because my husband was still sleeping and I didn't want to wake him up. The hostess ended up selling me some coffee and some pastries

employees are on strike and will wake you up at 5 am. if you do stay here, ask for a room on the back side of the hotel to avoid the yelling, horns, drums, and harrassment.

This hotel might be ok for NY but the customer service really needs improvement. Upon arrival, we did not see any valet attendant or bell man to help us with our car/luggage. Did not have good experience with Front desk either. We had in-room service (dining) but the food was greasy! The air-conditioning in the room was not adequate and made the air quality in the room to be poor. The most annoying part of the stay was the constant phone call from house keeping trying to find out what time we will be checking out! Overall, the hotel looks very nice from outside but it was a different experience once inside.

the staff was very helpful and friendly. we were able to check in a little early, which was appreciated! the room we were assigned initially was musty-smoky smelling so we were given a new room right away. it was very nice. there was a secured, sliding glass door that opened to a shared balcony. we enjoyed that. close to the airport, but not noisy. close to manhattan by car. the pool & hot tub were nice and well maintained. the only thing i would change about the room would be to install a heat light in the bathroom & an exhaust fan. the bathroom steamed up quite a bit after a shower. we'll stay at the crowne plaza again on our next visit!

It offered peace and quiet. That it needed repair throughout the building inside and out.

hallway a bit noisy on the 'priority club quiet level', but the room is nice & staff is friendly.
