Checked in late, checked out early, so not much opportunity to enjoy facilities. We left on a ship to Catalina Island at 7am, and this hotel served our purpose well. It was quiet and clean, and close to the launching dock.

Friendliness & support of staff. Toilet in 1st room was not clean. Open closet door made exit from bathroom impossible.

We stayed there because of the price and location to the cruise ship were going on the following day . The staff was very helpful. We had eight people in our party with 2 pieces of luggage and they were able to shuttle us to the ship in time . The hotel was very clean and it was in walking distance to some very fine restaurants on the water. They even picked us up in a van when we were done. We 'll be back in October, with no worries of where to stay.. This is a good choice..... No regrets...

stayed here as a day of rest from a cruise, they are very close to the terminal and they provide a free shuttle to or from the cruise terminal.. super shuttle to lax is only 34.00 for 2 people, beats a cab everytime.. very nice hotel, down the street from some good restaurants and some quaint shops, modern, clean, comfortable, not cheap but a good value for the price. it will surprise you.

We were given a smoking room (nonsmokers) but didn't notice any smoke odors. Excellent staff - very friendly and helpful when asked questions about the surrounding area. We took the morning shuttle to the LA Cruise Port without any problems.

Stayed for 1 night prior to a cruise. Room was very clean and offered some unique amenities - a clip to keep the curtains closed tight, a relaxation CD to help you fall asleep, etc. The shuttle over and back to "Ports of Call "was a really nice feature. The shuttle service to the pier was somewhat chaotic as the lobby filled up very early in the day and there didn't seem to be a system on how the shuttles were loaded. We decided after breakfast to go back to the room and relax there and came down late in the morning. We still ended up waiting, but got to the ship in plenty of time. Would definately stay there again.

This hotel....absoluetly the finest property in the South Bay area. Impecably sharp and recently remodled. Hotel staff are top notch professionals and treat guests with the utmost respect and show family friendliness attitudes. I definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay again next earliest opportunity.

Great location. Shuttle to pier was efficient and friendly. There was no concierge on duty, as we could all see from the check-in desk. Kind of unreal. Finally we found and asked the bellman and were given totally incorrect information, so we made our own way to the tourist area.

given the price of the hotel you would think that they would offer free wireless internet. I have stayed in less expensive hotels and had free wireless internet.The breakfast buffet was not good given the cost. Above all the staff did not communicate effectively and was not helpful when asked for help. Lastly, the lag in response time for a items delivered to the room was horrendous.

Joke of a hotel, toilets don't work in numerous rooms, A/C unit would blow heat in some rooms, out of inspection elevators are something out of a horror show with the shaking and rattling that goes on. Won't stay ever again at this one. Room Service takes all day to clean your room.

My stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel was very enjoyable. The staff were all very pleasant. The room was very clean and comfortable. All the little extras provided by the hotel made this seem like an excellent value. For example Lavander linen spray, a relaxation CD and eye mask package were provided for an exjoyable night's rest and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. My husband and I had business in Orage so we didn't hang around in the San Pedro area. I don't know if the location was ok or not because we just got on the freeway. The neighborhood seemed safe, just sort of industrial. I would stay here again. If I did, I'd ask for robes early, maybe at check in. We called the front desk around 10pm and they said they were locked up by then. No biggie.

This is simply the best value and hotel in San Pedro. The hotel is just finishing a complete remodel and the rooms are beautiful. Food is awesome. International staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back and recommend to my friends and family.

The lobby was not elderly-friendly... no available seating available for those who may be waiting for check-in or a place just to sit and wait comfortably. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were no sufficient dining options within the hotel itself. The closet door location interfered with the bathroom door when it is propped open. There was only one set of condiments for 2 coffee cups/guests. Overall experience was okay.
