The Crown Plaza Guatemal is a great hotel to stay. Very well located at the hart of the zona viva entertainment area of guatemala. Rooms are very comfortable with very nice bathroom. The hotel has a cassino inside so its a grat alternative to enjoy without leavinfg the hotel. Staff was also very nice For meals it has a very nice restaurante where we had a pleasent dinner and breakfast with a big buffet.

It was great to have a business center with internet access on 4 computers available to guests. Incredibly, there was no charge for using the computers and there was always at least one available for use. It made communication with family and friends so much easier since we were told not to take notebook computers on our trip because they often get stolen. The beds were very comfortable. There was adjustable temperature in the rooms with air conditioning. The laundry service was very good and also prompt. At the hotel there are limited dining options, only one restaurant with a limited menu. It was OK nothing to rave about. However, there were exceptional restaurants in the area just a taxi drive away. The hotel offers free transportation to and from the airport. We used it the day before leaving to do our check-in at the airport early and pay our airport tax, and then used it to go to the airport the day we left. It worked out quite well. There is a lovely reception area and lobby.
