my husband and i was very please to have stayed at this hotel.

Close to the airport, very upscale and free parking. We used this as a overnight before flying to Chicago, I could not have been happier a very upscale hotel free parking, guaranteed wake-up call.

I have stayed in Crowne Plaza's for numerous business trips and for long stays. This is the first time I booked specifically for a short stay to assure access to a swimming pool and hot tub. Both have been broken since September. I also stayed in an area of Houston that just shuts down for the holidays so the hotel was so slow the staff were bored and while I cannot blame them for the slow down, I now know never to stay in a business/corporate setting during the holiday season for any hotel. I was disappointed in the food and facility maintenance. I had incorrect charges on a restaurant bill. And a waitress wanted to settle with me 15 minutes before she planned to leave, rather than ask me if she could do anything before she left. I arrived to late at 10:30 pm to assure myself a meal after traveling 16 hours due to holiday craze and challenges, so my only choice for a While everyone was apologetic and I got a discount on my food bill. This travel season was marred by too many complications of cancelled flights, delays and more. I chose Crowne Plaza during a 10 day cycle of travel hoping for a respot and that did not happen. I have written the on line travel website about my trip and the hotel. I suspect no repair will be made and I will alter the way I travel now and rethink how to arrange travel so I can insure my health, sleep and proper food. Houston is a hiccup in travel.

The rooms were really nice. Clean and roomy. Bed pillow too small, not comfy. Bar closes at 12 too early when on vacation. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. the room was very nice and clean, very up to date(contemporary. ) The staff was friendly. We did not like the bed pillows they were too small and very soft. We also were not pleased that the bar closed at midnight. Especially when your on vacation you want to be able to have a few drinks and then go up to your room. we felt they are losing business in that aspect.

When booking this room, I was originally hoping that they would have been done their renovations, even on of their own websites said that they would be done by this time. Not only were they not done, I asked the person at desk and she said they wouldn't be done till the end of May! I thought that this might ruin my stay here, but for the most part...it didn't affect my stay here at all. When I checked in, I was told that I would be getting a room thats already been renovated, even better it was on the top floor so not once did I see or hear anything that had to do with the renovating being done. The quality of the room itself was great, the room was nice and clean with no stains, weird smells, critters, etc. The only 1 minor complaint I have with the room is that the toilet would make a loud annoying screeching noise each time it was used that would last for around 2 mins, didn't bother reporting it cuz I was only staying there for one night. The staff was quite friendly, however I didn't like the fact that there were knocking my door down at around 9:30am despite the DND sign. The indoor restaurant looked nice enough, but didn't get a chance to sample it since I just ended up going down the street to Ihop. Also didn't like the fact that I had to pay $10 for the wireless internet. Other then that, I had a real nice stay here. The location was great and the area was nice and quiet. This place is really going to stand out even more once the renovations are complete. Next time I'm in Houston, I will be returning here, thank you!

I thought the hotel was very nice, very clean and just what I needed after being away from home for 3 weeks. I really wanted to see more selections on the restaurant menu. I went out to seek dinner at another location, but the area the hotel was located in was not the best. I would not wander out at night in that local. So, dinner at the hotel was a necessity and I wish they had more to offer. The rooms were outstanding. The bed was very comfortable.

Great location just off Beltway 8, minutes from airport. Rooms were spotless, nice beds and quality sheets, bedding and pillows. Nicely appointed rooms. Computer generated wakeup call recalled you in 5 minutes if you did'nt answer it the first time, like the snooze button.

I did not find anything to criticize. The lobby was very impressive. Our room was very clean and the mattresses were wonderful. I liked it that we were not charged for parking on the premises.

The room was nicely decorated, and very clean. The staff were attentive, and friendly. The location was good with many restaurants within 5 miles, and close to the airport. Parking was good, and complimentary, which is not the norm for 4 star hotels.

Close to major highways and airport. No pets hotel room across the hall (2 door down) had a barking dog in it. Wonderful front desk staff! Business center computers slow and printer often jammed up. Even though this was a no pets hotel, there was an annoying barking dog in a room across the hall (2 doors down) from our room. Hallways echoed voices and door slammedloudly. Attractive furnishings throughout.

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport. It was a newer hotel and I must say the bed was one of the most comfortable I have have slept on in a hotel. Good value for money. Leave yourself 20 minutes to get to the airport from hotel.
