The hotel was under renovations. It was a mess. The staff was not very nice either.

Not much to tell. It was under renovation, no pool and didn't know tillI got there. This hotel might be nice when finished but currently it should not be open. The parking lot consists of fencing all over with detouring to find a parking spot. You have no idea where to get into the hotel through what door. It's awful. The restaurant area or bar was temporarily set up. No front desk, make shift front desk made out of tables, no computer to print a receipt for the stay either. I was thoroughly disappointed.

Or unless you like room temperatures in the 90s, or unless you don't mind jumping up and down to turn the heat on or off, because the thermostats do not work. Fortunately, the temperature never got lower than about 65 degrees F. The hottest it ever got was 95 degrees F, when I made the mistake of leaving the heat on when I left the room for about four hours. They moved me to another room that night, but the thermostat didn't work in the second room, either. When I complained and asked them to fix the problem, they kindly explained that I just didn't know how to use the thermostat. I complained every day of my stay and the problem remained until the day I checked out. The hotel is undergoing renovation anyway (as of late November 2008), so it's not a great place to stay anyway if you want more than a bed and bath.

Nice clean room and lobby, nice service. Great price for a nice room. We were disappointed the room didn't have a fridge or microwave. The pool area was dark and the floor was heavily puddled. We had to go to the front desk for pool towels. Other guests coming in at 2:00 AM on a Saturday night were a bit loud. I'd stay there again.

I stayed two nights at the Crowne Plaza in Fairfield NJ. I haven't spent a lot of time in hotels becasue I am still relativley young, however my stay at the Crowne Plaza was simply an amazing one. The hotel staff was great, checking in was fast and simple and the room was wonderfully kept. The pool and sauna were also nice additions. I would recomend staying at this hotel to all of my friends and family that may be looking for a great hotel in the fairfield area with a really affordable price.

Upgraded me to a suite. Room, staff and service was great. Room service closed before posted time. Morning room service was missing cream and sugar. Gorgeous rooms, great location, attentive staff, clean, quiet and guest friendly.

We only spent one night here but I would certainly stay again. The room was clean, the bed was actually comfortable, plenty of pillows and excellent service. We were beside the air condtioning units which could be a little loud, but it didn't bother us as we are used to sleeping with fans.

My car battery died and the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful. They gave my car a hot shot- called ahead to Firestone and dropped it off, then drove me and my daughter to her soccer game. Being 3 1/2 hours away from home and having your car break down was not fun, but the good people at this hotel really could not have been nicer and more helpful. THANKS AGAIN!

Rooms are very nice. Hotel is under renovations. This will be a very nice property when the major renovations to the public areas are finished.The restaurant is in a meeting room as is the front desk. Construction equipment is making a racket before 7 AM every morning.

The mattress and linens. Not enough toilet paper. Overall, an excellent experience. The room comfort was of the highest quality, quiet, clean, and stylish. I took advantage of the free in-room wireless internet service and the gym. The gym was well equipped, and complete with lockers and sauna.

Non-smoking facility with a quiet zone floor. It was under construction. Friendly staff; clean; room was nicer than I expected and quite comfortable. Love that the 5th floor is a designated quiet zone. It was very quiet, even in the lobby - don't know if they had fewer guests due to renovations going on. No construction noise, just inconvenient finding one's way in from the parking lot. Location is very easy to get to from Rt. 46 E.

The rooms were spacious clean and recently given a complete makeover. The ongoing renovations I'm sure the hotel will be a great visit when the renovations are complete. I was a little disappointed that I wasn't warned that the hotel was undergoing a complete renovation. The front desk, lounge and restaurant were all temporarily in the conference rooms. However, the staff was great and the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable.

The gym and pool were great! My hotel room was not ready! The room was clean but we thought it would have been a larger suite! The service was horrible!
