We stayed 5 nights at the hotel and had a perfect experience. Our rooms were very clean. The service was great. Our room was newly decorated - we were on the first floor. Access to Darling Harbour was great for so many reasons. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. The staff went over board to help us.

The location was OK, the view that was suppose to be the Harbour view was obstructed.( It should had been the Freeway View.) The king size bed was uncomfortable because it was 2 twin beds put together. Compared to other trips the staff could have been more friendly.

Fantastic location. Very close to CBD and Darling Harbour. This hotel is set in the absolute perfect location. It is easy to get to from the airport ($35 taxi) and it is a stone's throw from all of the action in the CBD and Darling Harbour. The hotel staff was great and the rooms were immaculate. I couldn't ask for more!

Good value for money through 'Rates to go' and great location near Darling Harbour. We arrived early and a room was available so we were able to check in early and this was great. Very professional and friendly reception staff

My husband and I booked the Crowne Plaza in Darling Harbour for two nights. When we arrived after our evening flight from Tasmania the receptionist told us that they were overbooked and we don't have a room. That he proceeded to start searching for a room for us in other hotels. Eventually ( twenty-thirty minutes later) we were told that we can go to Rydges ( the night manager told us that is was a nice five star hotel and it was not!) and we had to switch hotels again next day. At least we got some taxi vouchers for all the hassle between the hotels. The night manager promised that we will be taken care of when we come back to Crowne Plaza the next day but I really did not notice anything different in the room than the any other Crowne Plaza room in any other city in any other country. The check out process was easy and seamless.

The room was incredibaly clean and the congierge service was top notch. The location is very convienent to all forms of transportation. The resturant has great food and service.

Concierge and check in associates extremely helpful! Overcharged for continental breakfast, should have been $20 charged $30 couldn't be fixed, and hotel charges $8/30 minutes of internet. Very nice lobby, helpful staff, well kept gym area, close to everything. Would be great for a business traveler attending anything at the Convention Center.

Excellent location in central business district directly across the street from Darling Harbor, but otherwise an average hotel in all respects. Rooms are clean but plain. Service is friendly. Health club is tiny, but has the basics. Price, relative to other hotels in this area is reasonable. This is a good hotel for any budget-minded traveler. It is conveniently located 3 blocks east of the Town Hall subway station which provides easy access around the city and to/from the airport.

Location was convenient. Reserve nonsmoking room, room stinks like smoke, unable to get resolved until demanding to talk to manager. She fixed it. Hotel was in convenient spot for access to Darling Harbor. Could not believe it took such measures as demanding a manager to get our smoky room problem resolved, we felt forced to stay in a smoky room, and this was unacceptable.

We recently stayed at The Crowne Plaza in Sydney, Australia. We found it to be very clean and a great location for Darling Harbour. We usually ate at dining room for breakfast which served delicious fruits and a good variety of juices and pastries. The only problem we had was the rooms were cleaned slowly and we had to wait to see if ours had been cleaned yet. They said that they had been extremely busy. Otherwise it was a great place to stay!

Concierge and front desk most efficient. Glass shower door encouraged a wet floor. The staff made a person feels as if they honestly wanted to help and not hinder their help to me. It wasn't as if I was bothering them asking the same questions as a traveler.

They gave us a harbor view for no additional cast at check in and the view was great. The room was somewhat worn and dated but the location was great.

The room size was wonderful. Bathroom was very large with lots of room. The hotel was next to a busy main road and could be noisy at times. The hotel met and exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect. Close to darling harbor, china town and the city rail station for catching the train to other areas of the city. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The bed was wonderful. The bathroom was Hugh with large shower, separate sinks, bathtub and very clean. Bathroom amenities were plentiful. The only draw back for the hotel is the busy main highway out front. Some traffic noise can be heard in the hotel room during peak commute times and the highway distracts from the view. Guests should be aware of this when choosing this hotel although it did not prevent us from having a very nice stay. The staff where nice and very helpful. When they say "no worries" they mean it. Arrived from an international flight at 9:30 am but could not checking until 2:00 p.m. Due to the busy holiday season. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again when returning to Sydney.

Front desk was courteous, helpful, and sharp. Couldn't get room svc, Manager did not follow thru on promises. This hotel has a very good location to the harbor It is a bit older in the rooms and could use renovating if claiming a 4 star status. Check in was a beautiful experience and maybe I the pleasure of dealing with the only decent staff they had. Shift manager was a joke and didn't follow through on the promises he made to me. I left the place very disheartened due to his lack of effort. I couldn't get room service to ever answer the phone, so plan on eating at the many nearby restaurants if you stay here. A decent 2-3 star hotel in a great location. Don't count on a 4 star experience at the Crowne Plaza Darling Harbor though, so don't pay 4 star prices for it either.
