Date of Stay: June, 2009

Nice looking facility. Noisy patrons, Internet was extra, no breakfast included. Our first night was fine, although we weren't happy that there was no breakfast accommodations other than room service. The second night, the hotel was quite noisy, with patrons talking in the halls all night. We could even hear the sound of a patron repeatedly trying to unlock the door to a nearby room, using their swipe card. These days, you can get Internet included for free, also, so we were surprised to have to pay $10 more per night for Internet.

All of the hotel staff was very nice. We actually had an unexpected guest that we were able to add to the guest list (last minute) and the staff was very helpful and added our guest with no extra charges for the roll away bed we requested. The rooms were first-class accommodations and we could not have been made more comfortable. The hotel bar and market store were very convenient and all staff members were very courteous and helpful. We simply could not have had a better stay than we did. We will most definitely stay at the Crowne Plaza again.

Overall it was a nice place to stay, clean and friendly. If you bring a laptop you can only use it in your room if you pay for the connection. Otherwise you have to use it in the lobby. The only other complaint was some kind of complimentary coffee/breakfast would have been nice. Although the restaurant offered a small buffet for $10.95.

I recently traveled to CO for my sons homecoming from Iraq. I was traveling by myself and needed something close to Ft. Carson. This hotel was only 1 exit away and SOOOOOO convienent to EVERYTHING!!!!!The staff was outstanding and the room was great. A little noisy on the highway side, but other than that I can say that I will stay at this hotel on my next trip :) Also, I got in late, after the store had closed and the gentleman working the front desk actually went into the store to get me a sandwich because I was starving!! Outstanding.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel while I was in town waiting for my nephew to return to Fort Carson from Iraq. The rooms are spacious, I had a beautiful view of Pikes Peak, and shopping, dining, movies were all within 2 miles of the hotel. The hotel staff was excellent, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There is an indoor and outdoor pool and laundry facilities onsite that are clean and well kept. The first night of my stay, I was presented with aromatherapy scents and a relaxation cd, free of charge. It seems that the staff wants you to have the best stay possible. I would really recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Colorado Springs Area. It was really more than I expected and was quite pleased with the whole facilities

The location. Room had old, dirty carpet, no natural light, dark , no goodTV channels for kids. The location, and staff was nice. Was able to get a fridge in room. Room was dark, dusty, dirty and very small. Not good for kids, pool was very cold and hot tub was not hot.

I didn't expect it would be good. I had feeling it would be like lodge or supper 8 type driver hotel. But i was surprized. it was good surprized well managed and well served hotel. I am glad i choose this among other choices.

Excellent location for our wants/needs, spacious room with two bathroom sinks, friendly staff. Felt that we were treated slightly below the norm. Our accommodations were quite nice and we were very pleased with our room. As one desk clerk leaned over to the clerk signing us in and informed her immediately. We were provided coffee in the room for one when both my wife and me shared the room, thus, we requested extra coffee twice, received only once, then, with one day left we simply ask for extra coffee over and above the regular one each to ensure our wanted were met. We personally searched out housekeeping for toilet tissue which was then provided, we were on the 2nd floor with balcony which was very nice, however, the outdoor carpet on the balcony was in need of cleaning. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and would not discourage anyone from considering the Crown Plaza.

Indoor swimming pool and space was delightful. Very nice hotel and I would recommend it to anyone wanting more than just a place to stay. Very nice room, large and pleasant, good restaurant on site and the indoor swimming pool space was far above anything I have seen elsewhere. The hotel was in a good location and easy to find.

Very nice, helpful staff. They included a nice breakfast. Outdoor pool wasnot open, not enough towels at indoor pool. Nice staff. It was a disappointment that the outdoor pool was filled, but not open. There were many families there for a baseball tournament, so that would have been nice. Restaurant (breakfast) was nice.

My room had a sliding glass door/patio. No free Internet, room too far from lobby, poor cleaning andinsecure patio. The room clean was that which I might expect. The room I was in had a patio/sliding glass door. It was single pane and mounted backwards (screen was on the inside). If someone were trying to break in it wouldn't be difficult as the track was easily accessible from the outside and regardless of locks the door could be removed with little effort. In addition, Internet access as $10/day.
