A wedding reception the first night created late night noise. The staff was very apologetic the next morning, allowed us to switch rooms and gave us complimentary breakfast coupons.

Very well decorated and good restaurants were nearby. Hard to get to parking.

this is second time we stayed at this hotel. It is a great location with lot's of resteurants in walking distance, a short five minute drive to St. Louis Zoo, and fifteen minutes from the ball park. Well light streets and a general feeling of safety

The beds were comfy. Staff was unprofessional and discourteous. Items were missing from my room. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstance. Look good on the outside but on the inside, the staff is unprofessional, irresponsible and not service-oriented.

We had a hard time finding the hotel due to construction and our route into St. Louis. After calling the hotel twice we found our way and they were really helpful when we arrived. Our room's air conditioning wasn't working effectively so after about 20 mins in our room I called and they sent the maintenance man who went out of his way to move us to another room with a new a/c unit. The only thing was the walls seemed a little thin and you could hear the outside noise going down the hall. The beds and pillows were awesome and really comfortable.

Room was nicely decorated.

This hotel was nice, a little construction going on but no noise could be heard in my room. The staff was very nice. Had to ask to use their computer because the "computer lap" charges you $.50 per minute.. weird.. but all in all it was good. Very comfortable bed and nice shuttle from the airport.

Bed was comfortable. They should do room repairs before people check in, not after.

Great Beds! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the Crowne Plaza treatment. Parking was even easy for a downtown hotel. Still undergoing some renovations in the entry area. When they are completed it will be incredible. The rooms look great. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced! THANK YOU!

Really good hotel within walking distance (15 min) of variety of restaurants and coffee shops. This hotel is located in an urban setting in a close suburb of St. Louis, MO. It provides most everything a traveler could need: close to an interstate highway, in-hotel restaurant, rec room, and pool, and a short walk to a variety of restaurants and coffee shops. A good value.

The hotel was great. The shower was old, however, and it had a very slow drain.

The personalized service and attention to our needs. It had areas under construction. The hotel was grand in appearance. The service was the best I've ever seen. You could tell she was a fine lady in her day. A magnificent hotel.

Was much more up-scale than I thought it would be. It was very nice and the bed was super comfy.

I liked the location, the staff, the room, the overall looks of the hotel. When leaving the parking structure, the attendant was very rude because I didn't have a coupon for free access out but no one had given me one. The hotel is pretty and very accommodating.

The bed was absolutely amazing...plush and comfy beyond belief. I liked the little welcome pack that included lavender linen spray, an eye mask and also a sleep/meditation cd. I didn't need any of that though; the bed was enough to lull me to sleep. As for the location, it's not too far from downtown St. Louis, but Clayton seems kind of dead. I was exhausted by our flight, so I didn't explore on our first day. On my second day, I discovered that the hotel isn't far from the University, an art museum, the zoo, a large park and several ecletic restaurants (French, Thai, Latin, etc.) The hotel is older, and some parts of the building show their age (elevators and carpet). But, the room was a dream. I'd stay there again, and I actually considered purchasing the mattress. The staff were very helpful and the shuttle took us to the wedding site with no problem.

The hotel had one of their drivers escort my grandmother in a wheelchair while my mom and I parked the car. That was very important to my family! It was undergoing construction, but this isn't the hotel's fault and wasn't a bad inconvenience. This hotel was a very lovely and eye-pleasing hotel. The elevators were a little confusing. After the construction is over, I think it will be a beautiful hotel. The price was very important to us too. The price, location near the zoo, and pictures of the hotel were the reasons we picked the hotel. My family and I were very comfortable in the beds and our room. The only bad thing was my mother and grandmother were disturbed at 4 am by loud neighbors. It took a while for them to get back to sleep. But overall, the hotel was extremely nice!

I stayed at the Crown Plaza with my daughter and elderly mother . All in all a great stay. Location was perfect for us, near restaurants and easy to access St Louis attractions by car. We loved the very comfortable beds. They were a little high though and getting up on the bed was a small challenge. For three people the room was quite small but very well equipped with a flat screen TV. We tried the restaurant in the lobby for breakfast and found a breakfast buffet that was very nice The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

It was perfect for our travel. It would be convenient for other visits as we travel with a dog. Also great location for many of St. Louis attractions.
