This hotel is well managed and the staff are friendly and the room was very nice. A solid experience except that it is a distance from the center of the city.

This was my first time staying at the Crown Plaza on the mainline and I travel allot to the Philadelphia area and usually stay in the center city area. I really love this hotel the hotel staff was exceptional in getting me check in , the hotel amenities was a plus for me since I left my laptop behind and I had to bring up a report and print it out , having free internet in the lobby and a printer was a lifesaver for me. I will be back again!!!

Rooms were very moist due to air conditioning. Room was very stuffy even with fan and air conditioning running. Plus a lot of moisture in the room. Everything including the towels in the bathroom felt damp.

I felt very comfortable at the Crowne Plaza but i was not happy with the water temp. When i first got there the water was lukewarm and then the following morning it was cold... other than that i loved it.

No hassles at all, the room was pretty, the bed comfy. I arrived and was a first time Priceline user. I had stayed at this hotel before at full advertised price. I was delighted that I was given the Priceline price for the room and no hassles or comments at all at check in. The staff is friendly and I know from past experience they try to please. In fact I wanted to make a pot of coffee in my room when I arrived. If I used the one packet then I would not have one for the morning. and I found a housekeeping person in the hallway and I asked for an extra coffee pack and instead of one packet she insisted that I take two which I used as I am a coffee drinker. She went out of her way to make my day! And English was not her first language so I was surprised that I could get what I wanted with extras! Great job by staff. Happy experience all the way around.

Location of this hotel is excellent. Just off I-95, you can reach down town or the University of Penn in just a few minutes with minimal challenges with traffic. The hotel was undergoing renovations which look quite nice and should be finished soon from appearances. Breakfast was approximately 15 for buffet. Only a couple eating establishments nearby.

"My parents wanted to have dinner at the restaurant in this hotel. The food they ordered didn't come for 1 hour !! When they conmplained abut it, the server said they'll come out soon, but never came. My parents eventually cancelled for everything. The restaurant workers should be more trained for this poor service."

All around, comfortable room. Hotel is undergoing remodeling...will be a Crowne Plaza. Breakfast buffet was well acquainted, coffee very good, etc. Didn't get a chance to use pool, but it is open. Staff was courteous, pleasant.Room was clean.Bed was good.

Check-inn was quick - and the staff was very helpful with additional questions I had. The room was spacious, bathroom size in proportion rather small. Bed was excellent - and as icing on the cake there was a big selection of pillows. If you need to choose - here you can. The alarm clock also came with a cd-player - and you can hook up your MP-3-player - if you remembered to bring a 3,5' connection cable with you, which would also help in your rental car. Mine was at home ;-( ... Moreover there was a CD-provided with relaxing music - and lavender pillow spray. Nice amenities ... Design was obviously not the main topic when creating the rooms - but you have all you need: Great bed, working TV, fridge and microwave. A desk and a sofa. I had no trouble sleeping - no noise to talk about - although I was only on the 3rd level. I had forgotten my power adapter and had only my cable with the EURO-plug for my electric shaver with me. No problem - the lady at the front desk did not really understand first what I wanted - but called her maintenance colleague who was able to fetch me what I needed. Very friendly - straight forward service! Would recommend this hotel anytime. Locationwise it was fine for my needs of this trip. Not exactly downtown - but still with a few dining options, e.g. TGIF right in front of the main entrance. Also the TARGET next door is convenient, as can be STARBUCKS and other watering holes in walking distance.
