This is the best and affordable hotel close to the EU institutions. Highly recommendable for those who have to conduct business in the Schuman area

nice place and would go there again

The cleanliness of the room. Too far from local attractions. Not touristy. Hotel is better for business travelers. Three stops from Central Station. Not close to local attractions. Better for business travelers. Area is deserted at night. Not safe for single travelers or women.

The hotel was quiet and allowed me to concentrate. Good place to stay, close to lots of chocolate and the EC offices.

Breakfast ordered to the room was excellent. Old fashion decor from 1980's. This hotel is an excellent choice for the business traveler. It is worth ordering breakfast in your room and looking at the view of Brussels and the common market in the early morning.

Superb, professional & cosmopolitan staff. Traffic & train noise level, even on top floors; challenging to access by car. Great location for any business traveler needing to be close to the heart of European headquarters. Easy accessibility by subway. Superbly professional and friendly staff.

Bathroom up to star quality (4 stars). Bed, carpet, furnishings, cleanliness of room outside of bathroom at 2-star level. Poor quality. This is definitely not a 3 or 4 star hotel. The bathroom was very nice, and at 4-star quality, but the rest of the room was not. The bed mattress was very old and not comfortable, the bed linens were often dirty. The non-smoking room we were in was saturated with the odor of cigarette smoke - it must have been embedded in the carpet, wallpaper, drapes, and ceiling. This should be a 2.5 star hotel at best.

Location is just OK. Location is not ideal for tourist. The hotel staff is kind of helpful but unable to offer me the King Size bed in the Non-smoking floor. He said it is not available surprising in a big hotel. He also said that child bed is unable to offer due to security purposes.

Clean and friendly. Far from city center, but metro helps Good price.

Nice size room. Remote location from downtown. Good hotel with helpful friendly staff. Large room. Restaurant prices too high to try. Business area with some reasonable restaurants and bakeries within 3-6 blocks, but downtown area is a 1/2 hour walk or 6-7euro taxi. Train station near, but not the right train station to go anywhere else easily.

Location relative to business. Non-smoking room filled with cigarette smoke through poor ventilation or joined rooms. Adequate for European standard.

Very nice room. Friendly service. Kind of far from the city. Excellent accommodations at an excellent price.

Location right next to metro easy to get anywhere. Do not eat breakfast there too expensive for buffett. Hotel is great better than expected with some of the reviews. Bed was very comfortable and had all the amenities you would want from a hotel. Recommend this hotel to anyone, the metro is right underneath the hotel so going anywhere in Brussels is easy. Only bad thing was breakfast way to expensive for a buffet. As far as restaurants there are two pubs down the street about one block which were excellent and they had seating outside which was an excellent atmosphere, there is also a local store next to the pubs if there is anything you want to pick up.

Friendly helpful staff. Quality of room service meals was disappointing and the room had facilities for making only instant coffee. A pleasant hotel with very professional and helpful staff. Although located in the eon district of the city there is a metro satiation sited directly under the hotel and it is a short (10-15 minutes) walk to the park van Brussels and a bit longer walk (15-20 minutes) to the grand¿ place. These destinations are also two and three metro stops respectively from the hotel. While the breakfast was good the room service food was disappointing. I was sorry to see that the "coffee maker" listed among the room's amenities was only a water heater and hence would make only instant coffee.

Location. Outdated decor and facilities, no gym, old bathroom. Disappointing room despite a nice lobby. Even the elevators seemed old! Definitely needs a makeover. will not stay there again.

Very comfortable bed. Nice and clean everything. Awesome location, right above subway. The bar/restaurant is very pricy. Very comfortable bed. Nice and clean everything. Awesome location, right above subway.

Proximity to metro - right next door. No hot water on morning of check out. Entire hotel. No apology. Nice hotel. Comfortable. Starting to show some wear and tear. Good location if you like to take metro transit or walk. Taxi option also available but did not utilize. Not located in center of city attractions but accessible to all of them. Caution- two taxis used to get to hotel from train station. One fair was 1/2 the other - clearly, an overcharge/rip off.

This is very conveniently located at maakbeek stop from Brussels' train station out of metro # 1a and 1b. No comment. The hotel is near center which is good for those on business trip and also good for people on vacation location are superb.
