The hotel is nice, and well kept, but they claim to have executive suites when really they have a normal room with a chair and desk.

Convenient to downtown Albany. Rooms were not on par with rating. Although convenient to the areas that I need to frequent, the hotel rooms did not reflect the star rating. The bathrooms were very small and the water pressure was bad. The furnishings/amenities in the room were dated. The room was not nearly worth the price compared to other places that I have stayed at a similar rate.

It was a decent stay. The hotel did not validate parking. The room was alright and the bathroom was small. The television in the room only got 10 stations. The staff was excellent - In fact, when I asked them to call a cab for me and it was going to be a 30 min wait, the airport shuttle driver drove me to my destination. There was construction going on and I was told there is always construction going on. I stayed there for its location though, which was perfect.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza overnight midweek. The room was super clean and the bed was one of my best night's sleep. It's located right downtown so it was also in walking distance to several restaurants, although I ended up ordering room service...the wings are awesome! Staff was very courteous. Highly recommended.

The Crowne Plaza in Albany was very nice. Great Location, beautiful view overlooking the capital. Only l blk away from the Empire Plaza. Staff was very courteous.

Hotel was very clean, interior design was very appealing. Coffee stand in lobby was staffed inconsistently & by inexperienced personnel. Good for business travelers in downtown.

Staying at the Crown Plaza was the highlight of the best weekend I have had all summer. The friendlyness, service and over all attidude of all the people is just beyound words. I just wish we were able to stay another night so this experience could last longer. I have been telling others about the the time we spent in Albany and our stay at the Crown Plaza.

I thought the staff was very warm and friendly. . . as they were always willing to please and offer assistance.

Free internet wireless-rare for a business class hotel. This would have been an overpriced property if not for Priceline. It is the only business-class hotel in downtown Albany. It is also one block from the state capitol building and near a restaurant district. The staff was friendly and helpful, the property clean and well located.

Just one block downhill from the historic capitol, two from the court of appeals, the hotel was great for a NOW conference of almost 1,000. The staff was very caring. The beds were the best! They had seven layers including two mattress pads, a sheet of brushed cotton, and a duvet. If this weren't enough, the hotel provides a radio/CD combination with a sleep-inducing CD. The gym and pool are two levels below the lobby and visible from the lobby atrium. The rates were reasonable for a quality hotel

The Crown Plaza in Albany center was very comfortable, easy to find and extremely clean. We booked the hotel because of how close it was to the Pepsi Arena. The access to the hotel was centrally located close by were shopping and alot of ammmenties. I would definitely recomend this hotel to anyone.

Convenient location to downtown; shuttle service offered. Room had peeling paint and stained carpet. Although conveniently located, the hotel is in dire need of a spruce up -- the rooms had peeling ceiling paint and unsightly stained carpeting. Generally understaffed, the one clerk I did interact with was perhaps the most surly and rude that I've ever uncounted. He may have been new to the job, but that's no excuse for his short-tempered remarks about everything from his own hotel staffing situation to Priceline issues to giving walking directions. I'd pass on staying here again.

The Hotel was easy to find. The rooms are pretty spacious. They need to put some air freshners in the rooms. My room smelled musty. Some of the staff was a little unfriendly. Otherwise pretty nice stay.

The Crowne Plaza, Albany, was very clean and friendly and pleasantly appointed throughout. Beds were very nice but the room needed another table where there was a large area to one side of the TV that was wasted space. That way, a second or third person in the room would have a place to use like the desk and chair on the other side of the TV. That would be my only suggestion.

Location. Rooms could use updating. Overall a pleasant experience.

I stayed here for a week for business. The room was kept clean, the fitness center was well-maintained and the staff was very friendly. Best of all they had everything a travelor needs to sleep well: comfortable beds, relaxation cds, eyemasks, linen spray, ear plugs and soft night lights. I have never slept so soundly in a hotel.

Everyone was extremely helpful. They noticed that my children were exhausted so they checked me in very quickly. They helped me order room service since the kitchen was closed and made arrive very qickly. I would definately stay there again.

The staff at the Crowne Plaza Albany went out of their way to take excellent care of us. The room was very clean and nice as we have come to expect. I did find that the bed linens and blanket weren't as soft as I'm used to with Crowne Plaza hotels. I was totally satisfied with everything else.

Excellent view of the NYS Capitol Building. No entrance between covered garage and the hotel. The lobby and staff at check-in were impressive - courteous, attentive, and efficient. Despite having 15 floors, the elevators always seemed to be right there. I had to pay extra for overnight parking in the covered garage but, found out the next day, that they don't even have a parking attendant there by Sunday at noon. The breakfast buffet was adequate but, had some stale muffins - which our waiter replaced when we pointed them out. He did make a special trip to let us choose the fresh ones before he put them out. Overall, I enjoyed being downtown and I would stay here again.
