The experience started out poorly with a surly suttle bus driver who did nothing to make us feel welcome. The initial impression was continued by the check in staff of one person who took forever to check in the people waiting in line. In addition there was no person staffing the Priority Club check in desk and that was like adding insult to injury. The trend in poor service contiued in that the check out process took way to long. Again they had one person on the desk and a line of six plus people waiting to check out. Then the shuttle bus was full for three rotations so I ended up walking to Terminal 2 rather than wait. The room was acceptable but the high cost of internet access (15 pound sterling) was a rip off and the lack of service staff was completely unacceptable.

Proximity to airport. Filthy, pre used, plastic cups were in the bathroom, obviously wiped out from previous stay.

I would recommand this hotel for whoever wants to find a hotel say for a night near the airport or even more than that. The hotel is very near to the Manchester city. It is close to the Traford Center (only 9 junctions away) and also near the resturents area Rashuelm (5 min drive). The room is a bit small, but acceptable. Room was clean and TV was having even Arabic channels. I stayed in it for one night just to be near the airport since my flight was early morning. The room price was very good for all the facilities and service offered to me.

Location of the courtesy phone in the airport to call for the shuttle was difficult to find. We ended up taking a taxi. The check in personel were a bit hurried but no big problem there. The Asian Fusion restaurant was great.

The price was excellent. A very nice hotel with an excellent bar and very friendly staff. Perfect for travelers on a budget or for short-stay business people. Not recommended for families or romantic stays.

Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and of good size. A bit surprised at the charge of £10 to park the car for one night. Arrived at 9.15pm maanaged to find a space to park but very few spaces available. Breakfast available from 4.30am a useful facility if leaving early. Good selection of hot and cold items available.

Not acceptably clean.But call me fussy, I prefer to have no evidence of the previous occupant in the bathroom. And don't forget they charge for parking as well

needed to stay overnight before joining friends for early flight to Vienna ,good eficient service ,shuttle very convenient ,would stay again on my own if circumstances dictated it ,not used to travelling alone but felt safe

Location, cleanliness. Staff, excessive wait for shuttle from bus depot. The hotel itself was fine, very nice room and clean facilities with reasonable food. The big issue was the wait for shuttle pickup from the train station/bus depot at the airport. Called to request pickup and then waited 45 minutes with no shuttle. In the same time, saw 5 Hilton shuttles and several others. Called and they said they would leave in five minutes. The shuttle was then full-it seemed as though they waited until they had enough people to fill it before sending it. All in all, we waited about an hour for pickup and then when we explained this to the desk clerk, he had the audacity to ask my wife if we called and if we were in the correct location, immediately after we explained about calling twice and seeing all the other shuttles. Incredibly poor customer service.

The hotel was excellent but parking was a huge problem with cars parked on grass verges, double yellow lines and in every concievable place. As a disabled traveller I had a long and difficult walk to the hotel, and there was a charge of £10 for that!

Great for Airport Stop overWe stayed at the Crowne Plaza as it offered a very competitive deal - double room, 15 nights parking, airport transferes for £99.00.The accomodation was modern, bright and clean and was ideal for our early morning check in. Staff in the restuarant were prompt and pleasant (especially Madge).One thing that I was not aware of when booking, cars are taken 12 miles to an off-site car park, I may have thought twice about this had I realised this at the time of booking.

One night stay with carparking for holidayRoom very nice and comfortable staff all helpfull.Ate in the Irish pub staff there were excellent very friendly and welcoming.Food was just okay however prices left you feeling you had been robbed, basic food high restaurant prices.Ordered the curry got 4 pieces of lamb all for £10.95. Would definately eat out next time

Excellent Stay perfect for pre flight stopoverHave stayed several times at this hotel and booked parking, will always consider this hotel first for any early flights.Very clean quiet comfortable rooms, pleasant modern style bar with freindly helpful staff.
