Perfect paradise getaway for kids (ages 1 - 8) who like the water/water activities, and being able to order their own non-alcoholic mix drink slushes from the bar. Kids Water Park is exceptional, like none at other resorts. Specialty dining was good, however, the snack bar and buffet food were very limited and not very appetizing. Very limited selection of drinks for adults. Rooms & beds very small, basic, & comparable to a nice motel, but very clean and well maintained. Very hard-working and helpful staff, well deserving of your tips. Overall, a good "value" all-inclusive resort, but not "luxurious" by any means. Then again, it is a perfect "budget" stay, for a short 3 to 5 day getaway with your kids.

We recently visted for a week. My toddler and I have had diarrhea for 20+ days since we were at the resort. Just got diagnosed with 3 diffrent parasites from this place!! One of them being pretty serious and now have to be on antibiotics for ONE month!! What a pricey vacation having to visit the doctors 3+ times, labs, and now antibiotics. We were scepitcal to visit Mexico in the first place and now know we will NEVER go back! This resort appears to be clean and family friendly but you can't see parasites with your naked eye. If you are even considering this vaction with children think again about there well being and yours. Wish someone would of told me about this before we went. My poor 20 month old daugher!! Oh ya and for the vendors on the beach..you can not even enjoy yourself you are bugged every moment you are on the beach, saying no grasious!!

Swam, ate, drank, rested, site seeing, shopping, theater shows, special ethnic suppers were superb. Couldn't think of a thing that was missing. We never went on an all inclusive trip. It was great. The free site seeing bus tour through the city was great. The tour guide was most informative and answered questions. The tequilla factory was very interesting. We can't say enough good about this vacation. Beautiful grounds. The staff was outstanding.

It was a nice all incluisve resort. First time to PVR and first all incluisve experience so can't compare it to anything. The reservation resturants were nice, but would get old if you stayed more than a week. Stunk that you had to wait in line everymorning for 30+mintues to make dinner reservations. The kiddie pool was great for our 20 months old daughter, she enjoyed it alot! Good drinks at the Tiki bar Ocean side. The nightshow we attended wasn't anything special and too late to bring kids. My 20 month old daughter and I still has diarrhea from our stay in Mexico it has been 20 days now. I know it must have been something we ate at the resort because we did not leave?? Not sure if it is like that everywhere in Mexico but does sort of reuin your trip and the feel for going back to Mexico. Also they only give you 2 bottle of water a day and charge $1.00 per bottle after that.

The hotel room, food, beverages, snacks, pools, and beach were terrific. We especially enjoyed dining out each evening at one of the four restaurants. We also enjoyed participating in the many activities offered throughout the day that were all part of the inclusive package. We plan to return again soon.

This hotel was pretty nice. It was especially clean, including the guest rooms, beach and eating areas. They were great on maintenance as well. It is a great place to go if you have kids. The water park for kids is amazing. They have a lot of activities for kids, but not really very many for adults. In fact, some of the services that were "available" at the hotel were only for kids, such as snorkeling (it is in the pool.) That was a bit of a disappointment. The food was good but not outstanding. There was plenty of variety though. We really enjoyed this hotel for the relaxation it provided. We traveled without kids. If you travel without kids and want activities for adults, look elsewhere. However, it was a great place to kick back with no agenda.

The Royal Crown Paradise Hotel was not only family friendly, but also very wheelchair accessible if needed. Staff was friendly and willing to assist in any matters. Loved it!

We stayed at the resort for 6 days. The mgt failed to inform us about the meals available at restaurants downtown that are included in the price. They failed to share with us the breakfast available at the Japanese Restaurant. The only food readily available was the buffet which was the same day after day and rampaged by children who fingered everything. The lines for dinner reservations were long and they always filled up before you could get a reservation. It was a huge disappointment for the amount of money I spent.

Crown Paradise is a nice resort. They have lots of things for the kids to do. Next door to the Golden Crown which is adults only. You may go back and forth between the two with some restrictions. Basically comes down to do you want kids splashing water in your drinks. Drinks are plentiful and they have top shelf if you ask. Very clean and safe. They share nightclub with Golden which has show of family and little nightlife after show is over. Vendors do not come on the property but will ask you the minute you step on beach.

Positives: pool area for kids. They loved it. Negatives: most everything else. The food at their main restaurant, LAPALAPA, was absolutely terrible. You had to really look hard and sift through their food to find something that we could eat. Even our one year baby did not want to touch most of their food. As far their restaurants which would open only at night, the french and japanese restaurants were reasonably good, while the Italian restaurant's quality of food was as bad as in LAPALAPA. We met several other couples from the US that decided to buy food at a local supermarket rather than eat at their restaurants.

The hotel staff was excellent and the evening shows were nice just not long enough. The food was not that great encept for the french restaurant. I think the food could be better and if so i would stay at the Crown Paradise Club again. This time i would bring my small children because it is very geared to the younger child.

Do not go there, save your money and your angst... The pool has 500 guests at the same time, its crowded and disgusting. You will be harrassed every single day by folks who want to sell you time share (no matter how many times you will say No Thank You!) Food is not good, had to go out to eat as it was only good for local folks. Dishes like cooked cactus and other dishes are not for anyone who was not born in Mexico. The fountain drink has bees all over it and our kids was stung. The beds are so hard, you will wake up with back pain every single day, it is not funny at all!!! The place is more like a MOTEL, not a resort and not a hotel... Do not go there, it is false advertising through and through

The Crown Paradise Club Puerto Vallarta did not appear very impressive on our approach from the airport, but once inside our opinion certainly changed for the better. Our Bell-boy went beyond the call of duty when it was found my wife had left her purse in the taxi (it was subsequently returned fully intact). Our room was large, had more then adequate storage space for our things, came with a safe, cable TV, table and chair, and a balcony with two chairs and a small table. The facility was clean, spacious, and the employees friendly. We noted a total of four pools with our room overlooking the adult spa and attached bar. This in turn was approximately 50ft to the beach with its lounge chairs and another bar. The four restaurants (American, Italian, French, and Japanese) were convenient and offered excellent selections. Note: the French restaurant was restricted to adults only and with both the Italian and Japanese restaurants had dress codes for the evening meal.

We are back from the Crown Paradise yerstaday. We traveled with two kids 11 and 6 years. It was nice vacation. Everybody had fun time. It is low season now and the best time to stay there. Not croweded. The service is very nice and accomodating. The staff is very freindly. Yes, it is not 5 star resort, but it has everything you need:clean, food is OK(never hungry), drinks are good. room is clean. If you travel with small kids this is the place to go. We did not use pool. But kids pool is very nicee. The beach is clean and nice. Ok for swimming. In the afternoon the water in the ocean gets dirty thow, because it is raining every day in the late afternoon. Restaurants are OK. We liked the French one.

This should be a 3 star resort. They had a problem with getting our room ready because it was not cleaned yet. When we finely checked into our room we found the hot water handle on the bathroom faucet broken and the toilet was leaking from the base. We also found the A/C to have no temperature controls. On or off are your only choices. The beds are hard. Food was OK the buffet was not that good but the other restaurants were much better. I would spend more money and go to a better resort in new Vallarta.

Our family (6 adults and 4 children) spent 6 nights here. We all had a wonderful time. The children went non-stop between the fun pirate pool and the beach. There was kid type food available breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus a snack bar on the beach. The bars offered different kid drinks each day (Sponge Bobs, Shreks, Barbies) so they looked forward to those daily. There are many games available to check out, shuffle board, bowling, etc. The restaurants were very good. You can sign up for them beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day. The adult beverages were great, you can call your liquor, and the bartenders were very friendly. While we were on the beach, a sea turtle came ashore and dug a hole and deposited her eggs. That was a real experience for the whole family. Two of the adults in our group booked golf through the hotel and they said the golf courses were awesome.

With all the small children and families, there they did a great job at handling everyone's needs. My children were very excited to see so many things catered to them, like a long drink menu at the bar, children's activities daily, and the water play area. (boys ages 7 and 5).

We were one of two families escaping the winter to CPC. I had no idea what to expect and it worked out great. Well, it started off horribly with a room with a single bed, for my wife, myself and our two young boys. We instantly told the front desk the room was not what we were promised. With a little bit of work we were moved to a perfect room and the week went off beautifully. We same two families have now re-booked for the upcoming winter, and two more families have signed on after hearing us rave all summer about the fun we had. PLEASE NOTE: The food is not out of this world, however, it's ALL INCLUSIVE. Just eat what you want, you need not eat anything you don't care for. The vendors are bad - but I believe they are bad at all beach resorts.

4 girls in their thirties looking for a fun, relaxing trip to Mexico and found this place perfect! The reviews were all so good and the trip lived up to it. The meals were fine. We were not expecting 5 star restaurants and the service was generally pretty good. Drinks were flowing. We loved the water aerobics, tequila volleyball and sunset dance. The rooms were very comfortable and it was great not having a ton of kids running around. We had a blast and would do it again. Thanks for everyone's postings on this hotel so we were able to make a perfect choice!
