The Criterion Hotel Perth can be found in the heart of the vibrant Perth City in Australia. It may also be referred to as the Regatta hotel. It is the oldest hotel in Perth, originally dating back to 1840. However, it just underwent significant remodeling and renovations.

The Criterion Hotel Perth is still located at 560 Hay Street, well over 100 years after its first licensing. Guests have access to a free CBD bus, though they are only a short walk away to major shopping locations in the area.

Rooms still boast a distinctive “Heritage” style. Some are medium sized while others are very spacious with high ceilings. Rooms include a large screen TV, a personal safe, air conditioning and a refrigerator.

The Criterion Hotel Perth held onto to much of its century old art decoration, including some exterior and interior work. This was done to ensure the hotel would fit in with the rest of the century-old atmosphere that makes Hay Street so memorable. Even the lobby and onsite restaurants owe much of their décor to old style architecture.

What are your breakfast options?: We have Cafe which provide breakfast every morning from 6.30am to 10:00am and it costs AUD13/person. Alternatively there are few coffee shops within walking distance that provide breakfast in the morning.

What transport is available to get around?: There are several ways get into the hotel from airport. The first alternative will be taxi. There is a taxi rank at the front of the airport. The second alternative will be shuttle bus. There is a shuttle bus stand at the front of the airport.
What can I do nearby?: We are located just in the heart of the City and there are shops around, and few of the main attraction such as Kings Park Botanical Garden, Swan Bells, Perth Mint, WA Museum and Art Gallery are within short distance from our hotel.
Do you have internet?: We do have wireless internet access from the rooms. You will only need to acquire voucher for the username and passwords from our Receptionist in the Front Desk and it is free of charge for our guests.
Do you provide parking?: The nearest and recommended 24 hour car park will be the Wilson Car-Park, which is just across the road and 1 minute walk from our hotel (corner of Pier and Hay Street, Kings complex). The cost for parking at the Wilson Car-Park will be more than $25.00 for overnight.
