Highly RecommendedWe only stayed for 1 night but we were made to feel really welcome by Beverly and Paul.The guesthouse was really clean and tidy, The Breakfast was just right. We would definately visit again. Highly recommended. Peter & Diane.

A Lovely Relaxing StayWe had a brilliant time at the Cranmore Hotel. Lovely hosts and very welcoming. The rooms are nicely decorated and everything was beautifully clean and shiny! The food was delicious and we hope to return in the near future!

Review Of the Cranmore, TorquayThoroughly impressed with the warm welcome received. We were treated like real quests and the hotels out there need to learn something about customer service. Although the bathroom was a little out of date, i couldnt fault the standard elsewhere. The lounge and dining area were very comfortable and 'felt like home'. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful.Even late into the evening when a botlle of wine was dearly needed the hosts happily obliged.They even had board games and a late night game of monopoly went down a treat.All in all a highly recomended place to stay and well worth the visit. One thing worth in mind is to contact them directly when booking!

Stayed at the Cranmore In Torquay recently - service was good and breakfast was nice. Bev and Paul are good hosts, though I didn't really have much of a chance to speak to them.Room was clean but not air conditioned so very stuffy and as I had the room at the very top- possibly attic room the ceiling slopes so if you're tall mind your head as you keep on hitting your head against the sloped ceiling .

we will be back!on arriveing we were greeted with a friendly warm welcome smile and coffee we noticed on arrival and during our stay how instanley we felt relaxed , the room we had chosen was the room with the four poster bed and the room was everything we expected lovely, the mornings were a real treat breakfast was lovely peaceful relaxing and could we have seconds please! we would recomend to stay here for a relaxing wonderful stay for couples and families enjoy your stay we did!

Very warm welcome and a really comfortable stayFriendly welcome even though we didn't arrive until 10pm. Stayed for 3 nights. Room was comfortable with ensuite and TV. Whole place was clean and tidy and breakfast was tasty. Definitely would stay there again if we were down that way. Good value also.

Something DifferentThe modern and thoughtful decor really made a difference to my stay. I found the hosts pleasant, friendly and discreet and the small touches like the comfortable lounge and dining area were a bonus. The bed was so inviting with nice cushions and throws and, while the bathroom had not yet been modernised, it was absolutely spotless which made a nice change!They are really working on making the Cranmore a little oasis in amongst so many competitiors who haven't renewed anything in the last 20 years! Keep it up and I will certainly be back.

Short stay at Torquay. Warm welcome from Bev and Paul, with cup of tea and chat. Lounge and dining room beautifully decorated. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of drink and food and refills.Bedroom was clean, as the rest of the hotel. Bev and Paul were keen to know that we were happy during the stay and could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable.

Great FindBooked for 2 nights and stayed for 3. Nothing was too much trouble with the owner even insisting on getting up early to make my breakfast on the morning of my 1st night so that I could eat before leaving for an early appointment. Highly recommended and would stay again.

Cranmore Hotel reviewI chose Torquay as a last minute destination and plucked the Cranmore Hotel from a list of places on the internet, but it was a fortuitous decision. The hotel was welcoming, clean and peaceful and well situated near a train station and easily within walking distance of the beach. Thank you very much for making my stay enjoyable.

Thought the Cranmore was an excellent case for moving away from inpersonal large hotel groups and back into good British seaside B and B's. I'd forgotten what i'd been missing. The owners couldnt have been more friendly and helpfull. The room was comfortable and clean with everything you could want. We even got a free upgrade !. I will certainly be recomending the Cranmore to anyone thinking of visiting the torbay region

Cosy and friendly B+BWelcomed into the Cranmore after a long drive with a cup of tea and biscuits and this set the tone for the stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was lovely. Breakfast was excellent and a cafetiere of good coffee started the day well along with a read of the Sunday papers which were to hand. Many thanks.
