Very goodThe room facilities are very good, nice TV and dvd-player, coffee ad tea facilities and the minibar ia amazingly cheap! The room style is warm and cosy, the bathroom has a good size and is very clean, good quality food served for breakfast and the hosts were kind and nice.7 min away from the city centre by bus (bus stop nearby), return ticket 2,00£.The bed was a little too firm and not very comfortable, but good value for money and definitely a very pleasant stay. Recommended!

we thought our stay was wonderful. Food was great, service was great, only difficulty was lugging our cases up the stairs. I would recommend this venue to my friends and family.

Wonderful place -- Owners acommodating in every wayOur family group of 9 had a wonderful one-night stay here. The owners were incredibly accommodating -- allowing us to use the breakfast room and their plates to eat our late takeaway dinner. The rooms were lovely, minibar prices very reasonable, breakfast excellent. Would most definitely stay here again.

Helpful welcomeOn arrival, we were offered maps and excellent recommendations for local eateries and helpful tips on getting into town. The only slightly negative comments regard the beds, which were much firmer that we are used to, resulting in aching backs! The mini bar provided fresh milk which was very much appreciated, and the hospitality tray in our room was generous.

Excellent service/accomodationDenise and Colin made us welcome to their beautiful Victorian hotel. The room was very comfortable and full of character. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful and set us up for the day. Excellent in all ways. Made our stay memorable and we would stay again.

Fantastic level of cleanliness, scrumptious breakfasts, beautiful room (particularly the drapes and decor), the only down-side was the problem with the heating and having to sleep in a jumper!

We went just for the weekend and stayed at this place for one night. It's a pretty good bargain for the price. It is about 1.5 mi to city center so not close enough to walk, unless it's summer. We just got a taxi into town and back about £7 each way. The place looks like it's another house on the road. Nothing overly dramatic. The rooms were decent and gave a look of a traditional B n B. The food is not that great. I would not recommend the pancakes. However the hosts are very friendly people.

Excellent all round. I fancied a different hotel from the usual business hotels I stay in usually and this was just what the doctor ordered!! The owners and staff are very welcoming and little details made it very confortable. Wi-fi completely free which some business hotels should be offering, they have a selection of DVDs to pick in the lobby if you fancy watching one, I didnt but was good to have the option. Super confortable beds, LCD TV on the wall. A very traditional B&B with some mod cons put into it for good measure. If I am ever in the area again, business or pleasure, I shall be going staying there again!

Great little spot - good rooms with old style decor (our's had 4 poster bed) and nice view. Facilities very good and entire place very clean. Breakfast was very tasty & generous and staff were extremely helpful. If / when I'm back in Bath would definitely stay there again. It's about a 20 min leisurely and scenic walk from town centre (down-hill) which I prefer but maybe an issue if you're a tad lazy (only £5 in taxi)

The Cranleigh represents excellent value. The room I stayed in was of the highest quality and spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful and I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this hotel, especially the breakfast!!
