Description:
Cradle Mountain Lodge is a unique wilderness experience, set right on the edge of the spectacular World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park, just 2 hours drive from Launceston and 1.25 hours from Devonport.
Cradle Mountain Lodge is located 81km from Devonport, 110km from Burnie, 142km from Launceston and 375km from Hobart.
To get to Cradle Mountain Lodge you can use the following options:
Air Connections
Regular flights are available from all Australian capital cities to Launceston with Jetstar or Virgin Blue, to Devonport with Qantaslink and to Hobart with Qantas or Virgin Blue.
Self Drive
Car rental is available through all major car rental companies in airport or city locations from Launceston (drive time is approx. 2.5 hours) Burnie (approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes) and Devonport (approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes).
Devonport Transfer Service
Cradle Mountain Lodge offers a scheduled guest transfer service 4 days per week between Devonport and Voyages Cradle Mountain Lodge using modern, comfortable and fully air-conditioned vehicles. This service operates on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only. Note: Not included in your room rate.
The services are scheduled to connect with selected direct QantasLink flights to and from Melbourne.
Coach Transfers
Service operates from Devonport and Launceston Airports. Limited services (3 times per week) during Spring and Winter.
Sea Connections
The &dbquo;Spirit of Tasmania&dbquo; sails between Melbourne and Devonport.
