When you arrive in Westbank on Highway 97 S. turn onto Gellatly Road. The Cove Lakeside Resort is at 4205 Gellatly Road on the shores of Okanagan Lake. Just Past the yacht club and public boat launch.

On our visit to Westbank, BC, we made a last minute decision to stay in Westbank. I went online and the Cove was the only place that met our needs. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice and big. The fine dining was great. I recommend this place to any one. I will be back!!!

I booked the hotel last minute the night before I stayed there. When we arrived the hotel was beautiful however, the staff were unfriendly and not very helpful. The hotel had not received the booking and the staff insisted that they did not have a contract with online travel website. We waited for one hour to have online travel website clear it up and send the paperwork, then waited another hour and half while the hotel reviewed the paperwork. As we sat in the lobby we were offered to go and sit in a hotel room with drinks and snacks, however the room was locked and numerous staff that were around it knew nothing about this room. When we spoke with the manager all he offered was a slight apology and we were told that it is best to book through the hotel. As by this time it was getting cooler out, we did not get to enjoy the hotel amenties such as the pool or beach (which was why we booked it). While we were waiting to check in many other travellers were saiting to discuss booking issues with the reception. I spent many minutes on my cell phone with online travel website (all at my cost, as we were not offered a hotel phone to use) and we were told but an agent that we would receive * off our booking and 25% off of our next booking, however we have yet to be contacted by them.

I thought that the Cove was a very lovely "first class"resort, I cannot think of one negative thing to say about it. The lobby was very nice, great looking bar and restaurant! We really enjoyed the pool area and thought the suite was awesome! I have been to the Okanagan many times and would highly recommend this resort, the location was really perfect too - close to great wineries!!!
