What are your breakfast options?: On-site, we have breakfast that runs from 6:30 am to 10:30 am on weekdays and 7:00am-11:00am on the weekends. It is a full buffet with an omelet station, fresh fruits, cereal, breads, hot items and a waffle iron with fresh Belgian waffle batter. The full buffet is $12.95. We offer a cold buffet for $8.95 and there is a small a la carte menu as well.
What transport is available to get around?: Transportation from airports would be either by taxi or by renting a car. The village runs a shuttle service called the Lake Placid Express. It is a free shuttle that stops at the property. This service is available for guest use; however it is not associated with the hotel in any way.
What can I do nearby?: As far as entertainment options go, being a smaller hotel, we don't offer any live music or such things but often in town on the weekends, there might be a band or other entertainment option depending on when you were planning your trip. Most of the attractions in the area are geared around the Olympic venues that the area has to offer, the newest bobsled track in North America, Whiteface Mountain ski and mountain bike center, the Olympic Jumping complex, the Olympic Museum, etc. The village offers an array of shops and restaurants that can meet any of your needs whether casual dining or a five star restaurant. Another great attraction is the Wild Center in Tupper Lake, NY just 35 minutes from the hotel. This is a wonderful place with both indoor and outdoor exhibitions.
