What are your breakfast options?

We offer a great breakfast buffet daily beginning at 6:30am. It includes an omelet station where our chef does eggs to order, as well as Belgian waffles and many other breakfast favorites. It is served until 10:30am Monday - Friday and until 11:00am on Saturday and Sunday. The cost is $11.95 per person. There are restaurants in the surrounding area for lighter options, probably 4 places within 5 miles of the hotel.

What transport is available to get around?

There is not any public transportation here on the island. It would be by taxi or commercial shuttles of which there are many options. There are some limited bus services along the US1 and major corridors of Port St. Lucie. It is limited both in the number of stops and the number of buses on the route, so pick-up times at any given location can be few. Rental cars are generally how people get around if they have flown into Florida, and probably the most affordable overall unless they stay within the island and Jensen Beach area, and in that case, it would not be too far to get to most things by bicycle.

What can I do nearby?

On the island, there is the FL Oceanographic Society, the FPL Energy Encounter, the Elliott Museum, the St Lucie County Historical Museum, The Smithsonian Marine Eco Exhibit and Aquarium, Kayak rentals and guided Kayak tours of beautiful areas along Intracoastal Waterway, and the Indian River Lagoon. 3 Sundays a month, there is horseback riding on the beach. Also, there are two local theatres that bring in touring acts, the Lyric in Stuart and the Sunrise in Fort Pierce. Nearby we also have the PGA Historical Museum, the National Navy UDT Museum, the Manatee Center, the AE Backus Gallery and Museum, and many other wonderful attractions including the NY Mets Spring Training venue and their minor league team, the St. Lucie Mets.

Yes, our rooms have wired internet and it is free. We only have wireless in the ground floor public area, free.
