great location, great breakfast buffet, but be sure to save your confirmation, because the hotel did not have our breakfast included in their system. if i hadn't had the paper confirmation, i would have had to pay for me, mom and 2 small children. i was not happy to have to return to my room, go out to my car to get the confirm and then ,back,to the front desk to prove i paid. not fun with 2 small hungry children. other than inexperienced front desk staff, the staff was great. it would have been nice if they trusted me and called orbitz to get it straight instead of me running around to prove my payment.

Hope it's not hot when you stay, the air conditioner in the room doesn't keep the room cool at night. Breakfast buffet was cold!

The staff was very helpful regarding dining choices, shopping availability and directions.

The hot tub was very nice. The staff at the front desk was excellent! The pool was too cold. Nice hotel, very friendly check in staff. Room was very nice however house cleaning could have done a better job. Very conveniently located and beautiful grounds. Breakfast buffet too expensive.

I stay for 3 days to visit friends and make a tour around all Westchester County were I live for 30 years.

Most employees were very nice, good bed, spacious room, and fairly quiet. Manager is too busy being proud to manage - struts a lot but doesn't get stuff done. It's been three weeks and the manager can't manage to get the washing machine fixed - that could be done in a day! And the internet service to my room was slower than dial-up when it was on at all - manager assured me it was only my room and that I was the first and only person ever to complain about the internet service that sure put me in my place! So it's a nice enough place as long as you don't count on anything that isn't still working the way it should be.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days from the 29th of May to the 31st. The room was not horribly large but it was comfortable, with a tube television, a nice, firm, king-size bed, and a loveseat. Bonuses: small balcony, ironing board & iron, coffee pot, and hair dryer. My companion said that the carpet smelled but he was exercising on the floor, and really, who has any real reason to place their face close to the carpet? In that vein, I didn't notice any smell. My only complaint was the poor water pressure in the shower. I prefer my water to have much force behind it, and this was merely okay. Note: If you are securing your room with a debit card, be aware that the hotel will hold $100 dollars from your account, which will be returned in several business days. Not a major issue, just a heads up! Additionally, I am familiar with this area and there is PLENTY to do, if you only know where to go, and most within 15 miles. So plan accordingly!

The friendly staff. The cold heated swimming pool. Friendly/accommodating staff however the heated pool is very cold. Complained about that and still no heat. Good location, quiet hotel. However, more like a 2 star hotel. Breakfast is expensive and not that great.

We stayed here b/c we were attending a wedding in Tarrytown & it worked out well. The room was spacious, clean & modern. The hotel has a nice pool & fitness area. One piece of advice: don't sample any of the premium channels or music stations on the TV b/c you can get charged immediately. But overall, we were happy w/our stay.

the courtyard at tarrytown was pleasant as usual. the greeting and fast service from the front desk was commendable. we needed a low floor (husband post operative) and my needs were met kindly and swiftly. the room was large with a nice sofa for a sitting area. coffee was available 24/7 but if you love very good coffee, bring your own. coffee makers are in the room.

Clean, quiet rooms; pretty courtyard (we saw hummingbirds in the flowers)! pool: 20 people in the pool @ 7:30pm; roughousing; unsafe play; DIVING; swimming in hottub Our room was clean and comfortable, nice deck to enjoy the courtyard below...found the pull-out table a little hard to use with young children; could have used a small table with two chairs (without wheels).Pool was the worst hotel-pool experience we've ever had; people were diving; running on the slick floors; splashing between hot tub and pool; swimming in the hot tub; doors were propped open so anyone could walk in; there was no need for your room card. Scary for our kids to be around people who were not following the guidelines. We understand there is "no lifeguard" on duty, but thee should be some kind of safeguard/ limit to people in the pool by hotel staff. Everyone should be able to enjoy the pool without worrying that you (or your kids) are going to get hurt.

excellent combination of convenience, service and affordability As with so many similar hotels: (1) no direct light in the shower, (2) poor water pressure in the shower

Excellent staff! From front desk to housekeeping to maintenance, first rate! Difficult to find, not signed well. Once you find the Courtyard, the facilities and the seclusion are wonderful. Very quiet and great value.

Staff in every area superior. Difficult to find location. Not signed well at all. While the entire staff that I have interacted with is great, the housekeeping personnel are excellent. But I do have to say there hasn't been one person that I thought was anything other than excellent.
