Location on/near river, up-to-date lobby and coffee shop (starbucks). Upscale Marriott Courtyard which has an updated, modern lobby area, a coffe shop with Sarbucks, and a restaurant/bar area comfortable for meeting people. Rooms neat and clean; hotel staff friendly, informative, and polite.

The hotel was comfortable. I did not like the rating on this hotel. We were disappointed. It was more like a 2 star than a 3 star hotel. I was reasonably comfortable in this hotel it just seemed over rated. The rating was a 3 star and we had stayed in a 2 star the night before that was the same type and was much nicer. This star rating was off.

The hotel was very clean. Not enough food choices for all meals. Seniors like my wife and I should have rooms closer to the elevator. I was impressed by the work that was done inside the hotel. The food choices need to be up-graded to include good fish and steak meals. I did like your Bistro burger. It was very tasty. The beds were very comfortable. It was very hard for me and my wife to walk all the way to the end of the hallway to reach our room.

They gave excellent directions- gave a printed hand out to local attractions. The fact that the eating area was small, did not offer continental breakfast. Excellent clean and safe. Staff was extremely helpful with both directions and filling our needs. I broke my razor and was given one by the front desk. They were polite and courteous.

Very attractively decorated, clean, friendly staff. The beds were too firm for us. We loved our stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, the rooms were spotlessly clean, an absolutely fantastic gym with top notch equipment. Parking was close by, and the lobby was a very inviting place as well.

The location was private, and they kept the pool open for adults in the evening as long as they were quiet. It was being renovated, but under the circumstances it was still clean. This hotel was in a nice, private location beside the Manatee river. It was nice and had some really beautiful fountains inside the large breezeway. The pool and hot tub were nice. Being a business traveler is sometimes hectic and it is nice to come in late and relax in the hot tub. Most hotels shut the pool and hot tub down after 10pm, but when I was out on business I sometimes got back to the hotel around 11 or 12. The staff left the pool facilities open which was very convenient. The hotel was actually being renovated at the time of my arrival and the restaurant was closed, and my only view was basically a construction zone. This was an inconvenience but the staff managed to stay on top of things and keep the hotel clean during this time which was impressive. The staff could have also been a little more helpful and friendly.

Great room, pool and location to river. The hotel was under major construction and we didn't know that ahead of time. The upgraded our room to a suite because of it. Great room and pool but we should have been informed that the hotel was under major construction. The restaurant was not open. No laundry facilities or room service.

The beds were very comfortable and the wireless internet availability was a great convenience @ no extra charge. Hotel under renovation / small room/ view of dumpster/ access and signage to get to hotel. The food & service was good.

The lobby and view of the water was beautiful. The balcony was tiny. This hotel is in a nice location. The balcony was too small and the elevators smelled terrible. Otherwise the view of the river was beautiful; room's decent size and they had convenient late check out without incurring additional cost. It was very nice!

Convenient parking without fees. Some of the common areas are a bit dated and need renovation. We had a very nice 1 night stay. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable.
