What transport is available to get around?: We use Gold Star Limousine. There are a number of rental places available at airports and the closest rental place to our hotel is Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
What can I do nearby?: The beach is easy to find and takes approximately 30 to 35 minutes depending on traffic and time of day you choose to go. Publix Market is on Manatee Ave about 15 minutes depending on traffic. CVS is about 2 minutes' drive and within walking distance. There is Subway near and the Bradenton Mall which is about 10 minutes' drive. Surrounding the mall are cute stores like Burlington Coat Factory, Barns and Noble and just about anything you would need for shopping. The main street in downtown Bradenton, right around the corner has cute little shops and café.

At Lakewood Ranch, for about 20 minutes' drive to the interstate (about 2 exits South) you will find a very accommodating area for the whole family to enjoy dinner, little shops and the occasional Horse and Buggy ride if they are out. Outlet Mall is also very close and has more stores in it to enjoy. An outside mall is also available in Ellington. Also in the same plaza as the outlet mall we have an ice skating rink.
