Great location--close to I395 and family. The rooms were nice and clean. We even had a view of the capitol! Would certainly choose again.

Location *and parking garage. Mattress & prefer sink outside of shower room,no fridge.

I stayed here for 4 nights/5 days. The biggest problem is that housekeeping is bad! Tub, sink and bathroom floor were very dirty on arrival and did not get cleaned. Towels were not replenished. Room was not vacuumed daily. Room was not dusted. Coffee pot and mugs were not cleaned, not even rinsed out and ice bucket was never emptied. There were not shelves in the refrigerator so it was useless. The elevator was not vacuumed and was filthy the whole time I was there. BEWARE --The restaurant and bar are only open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so there was no food except an overpriced breakfast buffet. The takeout food machine was always empty and had few choices. I bought the one sandwich there and it was old, hard and disgusting with a rotten apple. I threw it away. The front desk staff is very nice but the hotel is average at best with poor housekeeping and no food or drinks. The location is very good for me so I might even have to go back but I hope they clean up their act!

We booked this hotel over July 4th weekend to see the sights in DC. The hotel provides a shuttle to the metro, which was a great way to get into the city center. Rooms were clean and a good size.. front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. All in all, a great place to stay when you want a cheaper (and quieter!) alternative to some of the hotels in DC itself. Would definitely stay there again!

The price was excellent for its proximity to Washington, DC. Restaurant shut down on weekends, except for breakfast. The lobby was well designed and in good condition, along with the breakfast area. The room was a good size. Outside street noise was loud although we slept well. The bed linens were clean.

"Shuttle service is horrible, also not it is not close to a metro stop. If your going to Dc please don't stay here"

The hotel was fine. The rooms were very clean and the maid service was excellent. The shuttle service to the Metro station was awesome! My only complaint regards the bar and resturant which were closed on Friday and Saturday nights! I thought that this was strange. We were looking forward to eating in the Hotel and relaxing after a long day of sightseeing and then had to walk across the street for pizza. Also I wanted a cup of coffee and was informed that the coffee maker is put away after breakfast. Now how hard would it be to keep a fresh pot of coffee going for weary travelers?

Location - it was on the very edge of the chosen area and not within walking distance of any train.

We could see the top of the Washington Monument & the Jefferson Memorial from our 11th floor room ... a gentle chill. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Shuttle service to DCA and the nearby Metro was prompt. Room was clean & comfortable. There were a few issues with one or the other elevators but they were resolved.

Staff were very well informed. Customer service was excellent. Location was a bit hard to find and off the beaten path. Overall room was very good. Bed was comfortable.

"we were very pleased with clean room, breakfast buffet, and friendly service. We were not there to sight-see, so cannot rate shuttle service. parking garage was convenient"

From the moment I walk in my experince was great with the staff. I had a lot of questions about the area and they were very helpful. The appearance in the lobby was extermly clean. I went to my room and along the way was greeted by friendly housekeeping staff in the hallways. My room was so big and opened. I had a king size bed that felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was a good size area, very clean and the towels were very soft. I am a single women traveling and in this hotel I felt very comfortable and secure.

"This was a nice hotel, however if you are in washington to sightsee, stay somwhere else. This hotel is not near any metro stop. And the hotel shuttle will only go to the airport. Theie is a metro stop there, but going thru the airport at rush hour was a nightmare."

Comfortable hotel with friendly service but my room was stinking of cheap room freshner that was overpowering. The shuttle service was also eratic.

We were in the area to help my brother find an apartment for 2 months for an internship. Found this hotel on the internet for a better price than most other hotels in the area. Didn't try out the food (breakfast buffet was like $13) or the pool, so can't comment on those, but they looked nice! People were nice and friendly. Felt safe leaving car in parking deck because you had to use a key to enter. Only negative was that it was $10 to park. It seems like it would be difficult to get to the hotel without GPS, though, which I used.

Friendly staff. Had to wait 2 hours to check in. Satisfactory!
