Large rooms - descent location - quite – clean. Reception and manger not friendly. Could not get a smile out of him for the life of it.

I was charged for a water we did not drink, nor was even in the room. No matter what happens now,I do not trust the hotel or staff. It was charged 5 hours after chkout.and a day before room was cleaned. (???)

Renovation on this hotel was very nicely done. Staff that checked us in. No personality and not very friendly. Hotel was nice, clean and very well appointed. Nice pillows and bedding. Adequate towels and cloths in the bathroom. New televisions were very nice. Hotel was quiet which is what I enjoyed most after a long day at work. Pool and exercise area were nicely appointed. Nice courtyard for a little fresh air. Fully functioning laundry room on site is $1.50 per load to wash and dry. No complimentary breakfast, but the restaurant is in the lobby for you to grab a leisurely meal. Very, nice place to stay.

When we entered our room, it had been made up but appeared that the prior guest hadn't left. We went back to the desk and were immediately offered another room and were given a coupon for two complementary breakfasts - great omelets!

great service and check in, rooms are first class, had 2 queen size beds very comfortable nice clean bathrooms, maid service was outstanding. great 32 in HD flat panel TV. only complaint was no complimentary breakfast which is becoming the norm. They did offer breakfast, but cost about $11.95 per person. We ate at a IHOP down the road about 2 miles.

It was very clean. The attitude of the front desk staff. My requests were always filled, but a smile goes a long way in making the customer not feel like a burden.

This modest hotel competes well with it's bigger sister, the Hanover Marriott because of the comfortable club feel of the commons area. My bicycle workout had lovely view of the pool. When I was done pedaling, I went and bought some energy re-enforcement in the lobby and sat outside in the most beautiful weather in a lovely gazebo. After it started to get chilly, I headed in and got some online work done in the open office. Then I sat in the lounge with the comfortable couches and watched some tv. Other guests were comfortable at tables by the window or in the lobby. It really felt very club-like and pleasant. And all these common areas were close together and easily accessible. My room was comfortable and had a window that opened! I enjoyed my stay at the Hanover Marriott, too, and while it was a bit more upscale, I'd probably stay at the Marriott Courtyard by Parsippany again just for the easy-to-lounge atmosphere.

Nothing to like - unsure how it was a 3 star, more like 1-2 star. Rooms had stained ceiling from water damage, wall paper peeling in bathroom, doors paper was thin. Stay away from this hotel. Wrongfully classified as a 3-star, it is more like a 1 or 2 star motel. The room they gave me was horrible, the ceilings were leaking, had large water stains, peeling wall paper, etc. This place was a huge disappointment, no free breakfast (with exception of tiny muffins - reminded me of a TV commercial I recently saw) - I've stayed at nicer, friendlier, Hampton Inns!

The value for the Priceline. Slippery bath tub floor; reported it. This hotel had all the amenities; sorry I couldn't use them as I only stayed one night. Friendly check-in staff, very clean room and bathroom. Choice of regular or Decaff for in-room coffee pot. Flat screen TV.

Spacious room and nice lobby area. There was a restaurant on site. Very nice place bordering on elegant. A complimentary breakfast would have been nice. There was a restaurant at the hotel.

Convenience & helpful staff. Room was a little run down, wallpaper peels.

Convenient location and free high speed internet. Linens not particularly clean. Facilities that one would expect from a Courtyard.

Close to major roads. Only accessable from the East bound lanes of Route. Staff friendly, new hotel, room was comfortable. Restaurants, shopping, etc. nearby. About 35 miles from NYC. Easy access to Route 80 East bound and West bound also close to Route 287 North and South.

Nice look of the room. No fridge! Worst pillow ever in bed, location too far. Room decorations and style is nice but most important requirement is fridge which is missing from room and I never had any worst pillow in my life than in this hotel; no comfy at all.

Beautiful relaxing courtyard, decent fitness area, decorations were not dated...felt modern No refrigerator. Very nice hotel. Rooms were very clean with a beautiful lobby and courtyard. The decor did not look like a casino from 1970 which many hotels do. Decent fitness area as well.
Date of Stay:
October, 2008
Everything. Not close to train - public transit station.
