There was no breakfast and the parking fee for parking fee was too high.

Hassel free front desk service and parking. Great location surrounded by many attractions and restaurants There wasn't anything that I disliked about this hotel The hotel staff was friendly and fast at check in and check out. The hotel was very quiet and clean. Parking was easily accessible and moderately priced compared to some of the other hotels in the area.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The hotel personel were friendly and helpful. I had booked the room online and chose a 2 queen size bedroom for my stay. I was suprised when I opened the door and there was a king size bed in the room. I went back downstairs to the front desk and showed them my confirmation number for a 2 queen size bed room. The staff informed me that I went through a third party and therefore I was not guaranteed a 2 queen size bed room. The staff was very nice explaining this and I accepted the explanation. Even though my son and I had to share a king size bed, we did not let it interfer with our having fun and enjoying our weekend. Free parking was a plus! It is hard to find a parking spot in New Orleans. However the parking sposts were small and it was difficult to park my Nissan truck 4x4 in the spot. But I was very glad for the free parking, great walking distance to the french quarter.

This was a nice place to stay, centrally located near the downtown area with restaurants and shopping centers within walking distance. We were a short distance from the French Quarter, the trolley car system, and Harrah's Gambling Casino was a few blocks away. Everything seemed like just a couple of blocks from the motel. Excellent service from all staff members, with a friendly front desk staff. I hightly recommend this motel. Everything about New Orleans was excellent. We came to New Orleans to attend a wedding and never have I seen such fine food as we were served at the wedding and at the restaurants in the New Orleans area. The river walk was just a couple of blocks from our motel and I have never seen such an array of fresh food at the food court. I cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay in New Orleans, LA. Again, I highly recommend this motel.

Saw all of NOLA worth seeing for 6 days. Spent 1st 3 nites @W hotel Poydras st and last 3 @ Marriott. W was across st from casino and they try hard with more staff but was more expensive and not worth the xtra. Marriot room door did not close/seal well but did lock and tv had sporadic static but a/c was great- bath was small compared to W but big enuf. Parking was much cheaper (17vs31/nite)and very accessible whereas W pkng was far away and needed valet everytime needed to get in car. You will walk in NOLA so the xtra 3 blocks wasn't even noticed. Marriott staff was efficient but out of site whereas W staff was all around but not much help (phone didn't work, bedspread nasty- asked for it to be changed-didn't happen, a/c average, faucet and shower had no aerator on them so water was really wasted, took long time for car valet to get car) All hotel carpets are nasty so recommend always wear socks in room. Thought bedding at Marriott better than W but both were nice. Marriott was cheaper and better. W was a 'bridge too far'. They wanna be cool but didn't quiet live up to it.

I booked this hotel last minute for a surprise birthday weekend and I couldn't have been happier! Not only was the staff friendly and more than willing to answer questions from "out of towners", but the room was spacious clean and very comfortable. We had the King suite and it was great; nice size bathroom and closet and a comfy couch for sitting. We did take advantage of the breakfast buffet and found it to be adequate. What was the best feature of this hotel was the location!!! Central to everything you want to see! We walked to fine restaurants - try Tommy's cuisine, Emeril's, or Lucy's and the Creole Skillet. The Riverwalk had great stores to shop and fast food for a quick bite. Harrah's casino was only blocks away! We even walked to the Superdome, Canal street shopping and of course the ever famous Bourbon Street! The Hotel also kept us on our exercise routine with a gym on site - followed by a dip in the refreshing pool or sauna and our getaway was complete! The staff also kept our luggage safe while we did some more sightseeing and shopping before our flight! Overall a fabulous trip! We will stay here again!!

Given this was a family trip to specific sites, the location was great! There are not enough nice things to say about this hotel!! Service, accessibility, cleanliness-even food was great! Was far enough away from the N.O. wildlife with regards to children, but was still in great location for just adults! Will definately stay here again! Travel online was a great help and the price was spectacular for the type room we reserved! A+++

Our room was clean and comfortable. However, did not like foam bedding. Bathroom small and no storage, but again, was clean. The small exercise room and pool, outdoor seating area was a big plus. Missed concierge and round-the-clock coffee service. Breakfast buffet was very good and reasonably priced, wait service very good.

We really enjoyed our stay. The highlight of the hotel was the breakfast buffet which was included with our hotel room. There was an omlette chef, a waffle bar, and every kind of breakfast item and drink that you could imagine. The service from the waitress was wonderful. The room was just fine - nothing spectacular, but an average hotel room. We had no complaints with it, as the beds were comforatable and the room was kept very clean. We loved New Orleans! We loved the hospitality of the Big Easy and we recommend that everyone come to enjoy this amazing city. We had a great time!

"I've stayed here twice and would never stay anywhere else in the Big Easy. The staff is very friendly and eager to please, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Ask for one that has a balcony overlooking the pool! The beautiful outdoor courtyard has a large heated pool and spa. It is a two block walk to Riverwalk, the streetcar that takes you to the French Quarter, and the convention center. There are dozens of restaurants in the area and the neighborhood seems very safe at all times of day and night. A great place to stay!"
