It was very organized and easy going. I could hear the people next door talking and the people up above us screwing for about an hour. Thank god our kids weren't with us. The hotel served its purpose, but I wouldn't stay there again.

The room was very nice, especially for the price. However, we were disturbed in the middle of the night twice by trucks picking up garbage from the dumpsters. You would think the hotel would have rules about dumpster pick-up at 2 am. Also, service in the restaurant (to be seated with multiple empty tables) was unreasonably slow, to the point we had to leave and go someplace else.

I have been traveling on business to Sacramento for years and have always stayed closer to the airport. I was not able to book into the Marriotts so I tried this one. This is the nicest Courtyard I've ever seen. It has an Italian style interior and very nice landscaping. It is right next to the UCDavis Medical center but only a short drive to downtown. The restaurant was excellent. Not typical hotel at all. I will definately continue to stay here.

The front desk staff was friendly. The parking lot is small.

Very nice hotel with nice pool and pool hours. we used the free internet access, which was very helpful. Had a small problem with faucet not turning off in bathroom. Staff found us another room and were very accomadating. Nice braakfast bar on week morning. we would definitely stay here again. Good info in room about things to see in that city. No noise problem at night. Great walking outdoor area around motel, besides great indoor workout room.

The staff did their best to assist us. The internet did not work. Wireless internet was not available in room. If you realy on having the internet available to you then this is not the hotel for you. The beds are comfortable, the staff are helpful but it is 2009 and they need to get wireless.

Clean friendly and updated. It was not in midtown.

Excellent staff, good size rooms, and refrigerator in rooms. Nothing. This hotel really surprised me. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to guests (I watched how they treated other guests). Computer access in lobby. I was very happy with my stay.

Clean, attractive, staff was okay and not overly friendly.

Big comfortable beds. Kind of out of the way for areas I was visiting.

Comfortable beds. They didn't bring newspaper. The location isn't great. It's fine if you have to be at the UC Davis Medical Center, but aside from that, it's far from everything. I took a bus ride to get there from the Capitol, and it went through some pretty bad areas.

Just a nice place to stay very pleasant. We got lost. All I can say it was very nice I love it!

Good amenities. Location too far from city center. Nice hotel in inconvenient location. Though non-smoking I could smell smoke in the bed linens (perhaps mattress and pillows).

Great location, next to freeway, & next to a Starbucks! The room was not vacuumed properly and the ice bucket had water in it with the plastic bag thrown in. You can't go wrong with any Marriott's. However, sometimes the housekeeping efforts are not exactly up to Marriott's standards. That happened to be the case in my room. The hotel floor was not vacuumed properly and my ice bucket had water in it with the plastic bag thrown in.

Paper thin walls, located in suburbs and not downtown. I've only heard more from my neighbors in shared hostel rooms- you can hear everything in this hotel- I didn't know that paper walls and ceilings meet California building code. Take a newspaper and chair while waiting for the elevators, because the stairwells are hidden.

Great staff, very nice new room. Walls between rooms was thin - heard conversations in next room.

Many things are included without additional fees such as Internet access in-rooms, use of microwave + plates/napkins/cutlery, free parking. Some rooms have a funky smell. I usually sleep with the window cracked open & it's not too cold. This is a simple hotel that is safe & fairly clean but no frills or anything fancy - just the basics. We have stayed here several times without incident and are pretty satisfied. Our last stay was eventful because we had to change room as our bathroom leaked water to the floor below. The management was nice enough to compensate us with complimentary buffet breakfast from the hotel restaurant for the inconvenience. The management tries very hard to make sure guests are happy. If you want a clean, mostly quiet place to rest for the night without paying too much, this is a good pick!

The lobby floors were beautiful. Very close to a high crime area. If your stay in Sacramento has anything to due with a medical condition or someone hospitalized at the UC Medical Center or the Shriners Children's Hospital, this hotel would be very convenient. However, for a safer and more convenient location to all Sacramento has to offer the visitor/tourist, I would not recommend the hotel.

Very clean, beautiful interior, has a Starbucks inside. Very large bathroom and plenty of mirror in bathroom. No complimentary breakfast bar. Very nice location, a Walgreens in walking distance and grocery store. Absolutely beautiful lobby area with marble floor. Has an exercise facility.
Date of Stay:
January, 2009
Lobby areas are very attractive, business center was extremely convenient. Exercise room equipment is very old, rooms did not have a refrigerator. Excellent for business travelers, very accommodating business center with printing and computer needs, and extremely convenient for individuals with business at the UC Davis Medical Center.
