It was perfect, staff was very courteous, location was great. Only note was the high price of the parking.

Clean, good staff, nice rooms, great location. Needs a bar, needs a restaurant. Pretty good, great staff.

Hotel was right next to the E & V lines, and within walking distance of the 6 line, making it relatively easy to get around the city using the subway. The concierge was also quite helpful with directions. The complimentary business center with printers is also a huge plus. There is a pharmacy right next door open 24 hours in case you want a late night snack or drink. I only had 2 issues. I booked a room which advertised 2 beds, only to learn later one was a sofa bed (which turned out okay). My other issue was the air conditioner in the room was a bit inconsistent. Sometimes the room was too warm or too cold. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend the hotel to fellow travellers.

The location was great. Subway stop on the corner. The rooms were big and were very comfortable. There were 4 people in our group and we managed quite well. They only offer breakfast which is expensive but so is everything else in the Big Apple. We were quite happy with the accommodations and the staff. The conceirge was most helpful, restaurant suggestions, directions to the different areas we were interested in, etc. We used the limousine service back to the airport when we departed. This was very convenient.

The location was perfect (located very close to the metro). The staff overall were helpful in giving directions and metro stops. We had an issue upon checking in, the staff said that our payment for our room was denied, when I had already received the bill stating the orbitz reservation, she then double checked and the hotel was awaiting payment from orbitz and not me. Due to flight issues we had to add on an extra night, when I called the hotel to reserve another night the staff seemed helpful and I was told that my card would be charged automatically, again upon arrival I had to explain this only to find out that I was "misinformed". However the next day I received a call that there were fraudulent charges on my credit card account. Hmmm!

The size of the room and the price. No ambiance and dated decor. Hotel room is a very good size for NYC and price is reasonable. Nothing special in terms of hotel decor, but everything is modern, clean and comfortable. Met our expectations and would stay there again if we are mid-town.

This is the 4th Marriott in NYC that we've stayed in. Great location at 53rd & 3rd- next to subway stop; lots of taxis available; Towne car will take up to 4 to LGA airport for $40 total; close to neat shops & restaurants; across from "lipstick" bldg & post office. We had a large, quiet room with comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Very friendly & helpful staff. Great area for walking. AAA rate was really reasonable! We stayed 4 nights and were very comfortable and happy with the experience. We'll return!

Was on my way to new york to see my daughter, we arrive at the hotel 2 hours early one of the clerks informed it was to early to check in which was cool. But the bad part about was she lied and said the room wasnt ready where as another clerk informed me that it was ready. So we proceeded to go to our room when i overheard to other clerk say that we was not suppose to check in yet.Just hope you get the right guest service clerk

Clean, big room. The lobby is small. Great place to stay. We loved the clean, large room. It was by the subway and close to all the attractions that we were interested in seeing.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and in a good location. The breakfast was good, but was completely overpriced. Dryers in laundry room did not dry clothes fast enough. The elevator caused motion sickness due to its speed. Our room did not have enough furniture. The weight set was broken in the exercise room. OVERALL: Nice hotel and staff!

This hotel in in a great centralized location. The lobby was simple, but the rooms were large for NYC, very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and attentive. I will stay at this hotel again.

Went to NYC for Broadway Show. Easy access from hotel to subway, walking distance to UN Building and nice park/view at the E. River. Walking distance to many restaurants/pubs/shops. Drug Store next door. Staff friendly and helpful with one exception. Most New Yorkers are very friendly (contrary to popular belief). Free coffee, on site breakfast restaurant. Hotel lacks lobby lounge area, although there is a business lounge on the 12th floor.

The rooms were large and comfortable, and the beds were more than expected. It was within a reasonable distance to most everything we wanted to do and see. Everyone at the hotel was a great help with directions so we were able to get around town with ease. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends who think that they would like to spend time in New York. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one.

The "motel" is very old and it used to be a Best Western. The room was very musty and even after checking out, the smell lingered in my clothes. I had an adjoining room and could hear every word from the people staying next door. One last note this motel is in a very scetchy part of town.

We used this hotel because it was next door to Memorial Sloan Kettering Outpatient Center. (MSKOC)` We needed a wheelchair and they had one for us. Room was neat and clean. Handicapped accessible and we never needed to go outside to get to MSK. Pricey but perfect for us. No food except breakfast which was a disadvantage but close to many restaurants.

One of the CLEANEST, nicest hotels ever booked. Everyone from the bellman to the waiters in the buffet lounge were extremely friendly and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Rooms are neat and large for NYC. Conceierge service was fantastic -- smiles AND great maps/directions. On-site breakfast buffet was absolutely great -- with great (Jose) service each morning. Even though buffet was on the $$ side did not mind leaving large tips because the staff made sure we were well taken care of. Excellent mid-town east location -- within walking distance to all mid-town attractions, plus a subway stop on the corner. One "default" would be that they only serve the breakfast buffet -- no lunch or dinner -- and I think they are missing out on revenue here.

1. Hotel is overpriced, way too much for what get2. Mediocre experience, staff rushed, bad check in/out set-up.
