This Courtyard was nice and spacious in the room. Pool and fitness rooms were great. Our family choose to eat elsewhere during our stay and alternatives were plentiful. Directions were easily obtained from staff during our stay to many different places that we choose to visit. I would suggest this hotel to others.

Computer and printer available in lobby, nice lobby and good room. Was a fine place to stay. Would stay there again.

All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was neat and clean. However, when the heat was turned on it was very noisy. Also, the website says there are microwave ovens in all the rooms. There was no microwave in our room and the staff said there were none in any of the rooms. You can heat things in the microwave in the main lobby. The staff was nice and kept leftover take out food in their fridge until I wanted it to reheat. The breakfasts were good with eggs, bacon and other food choices.

My daughter (10) and I stayed at this hotel the night before an overnight program she was involved in at Sterling Forest State Park. The room was excellent, high ceilings, very clean, everything in working order. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was nice, TV channel selection good. Front desk was nice and gave us a paper with about 20 local restaurants for dinner. Directions were clear and the Mexican restaurant we went to was very nice. Pool was nice, towels provided. The only thing I wished was that there was a bathroom near the pool, but no big deal to go back to the room. My daughter said that this was the best hotel room she has ever stayed in and did not want to leave the next morning! We did not use the continental breakfast byt saw it on the way out - it looked good. No minifridge in the room but we did not need one. All in all, I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone!

We were only there for an overnight. We arrived in a horrible wind and rain storm. The staff was wonderful in helping us get settled in and the room was the respite we needed from 5 hours of driving in the worst rain storm we have ever encountered. We would definitely stay there again when in the area.

The Courtyard in Mahwah, N.J. was a lovely hotel. The rooms were nicely appointed, the staff was inviting and very friendly.

Hotel/room was very clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were nice, nothing extraordinary. There was a nice walking area with a gazebo in the middle where some weddings are held. Nice little snack bar that's open 24/7 with a decent selection. People working at the front desk were friendly, not so much for others working around the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. I would go back just for the breakfast. The room was furnished very nicely with everything you need except a minifridge but that was not something I was in need of so it did not bother me. I'm not sure what else I could critique. It would get a 5 star rating from me for the aesthetics and breakfast alone. Would recommend to anyone.

Rooms need a refresh. Could use a refridgerator. Desk uncomfortably tall.

Location, to where I going while I stay there. It would be better if the continental breakfast included in the room rate.

Clean, well-managed hotel. The bed was only OK, the clock radio alarm didn't work. This was a typical Marriott Courtyard.

Clean, reasonable, easy to get to.

It was clean, location super and friendly people. Nothing. Super hotel for business travelers.

Room faced very noisy highway. Generally overrated at 2.5 stars, no difference between this and 2 stars, except maybe pool which I did not use. Unless I'm mistaken, the beds were twins, not queens, but otherwise the room was comfortable.

Location what great for what we wanted to do, 30-40 min drive to NY city and 15 min to the outlet shopping. Our room faces a busy highway. Rooms were clean and updated. Coffee in the lobby and the front desk gave me a toothbrush because I forgot mine!

Very accommodating, great location, excellent value and clean all the way around.

Entrances to rooms and parking, bathroom design and shower head. TV was only viewable from 3/4 of the bed. Nice, clean, comfortable and good amenities (pool).
Date of Stay:

Beds were comfortable, clean and enjoyed the fitness studio. Accessibility is a problem because only has one entrance off highway with no u-turns in the immediate area, if you missed turn. Other than that, the hotel met our expectations and was clean, beds were comfortable, and facilities were excellent.

Typical Courtyard. Nothing especially different. Good location for my business purposes. Plenty of local dining choices. Heater noisy. Staff confused about billing. Steam cleaned my carpets while I was a guest. Typical Courtyard. Staff not especially good at managing customers. Had back to back reservations. They checked me out and locked me out after my first night after they had told me they had consolidated them. Wife called and they told her I wasn't staying there. Otherwise good stay. Clean rooms, good maid service, internet worked fine, good water pressure, comfortable beds, good security, quite.

Clean, friendly staff, comfortable room. Breakfast had minimal variety and was overpriced. TV was too small.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Free high speed internet access included. No restaurant, but delivery available. I would stay here again.
