Went to Chicago to shop so the location just off Michigan Ave was terrific. This was my 2nd stay @ this hotel..the previous was over a year ago as a business traveler and during both stays there were major problems with broken elevators. Two of the three elevators were out-of-order at one point, with approximately 30 guests waiting in the lobby to go up to rooms. This is inexcusable in a downtown high-rise. The keycard system used to access the elevators is likely the reason they don't work so much of the time..my daughter and I witnessed an employee jam-jam-jamming her card up & down repeatedly in the same slot we had just inserted our card into once and it worked fine. Perhaps, Marriott, you might train your employees a little better and maybe your equipment would hold up longer.

Location and friendly staff. The gym was dirty an very limited.

This hotel is well located 1 block from The Miracle Mile and a 10 minute walk to the Navy Pier. Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins were right across the street, thought I'd died and gone to heaven! If Starbucks is more you cup, there's one right in the lobby. The room was much larger than I expected and even had a pull out couch and a desk. Very clean, staff was very helpful. The only two negatives I could come up with is the thermostat in the room didn't work properly and the AC kept the room cooler than I would prefer and the security system on the elevators (you have to slide your room key to get them to operate) worked sparadically and sometimes made it difficult to operate.

Shopped and enjoyed Magnificent Mile and surround areas. The only downside was getting from the BlueLine train to the hotel, and that wasn't too awful.

Location. Not enough electric outlets. Great location, clean.

The entire staff was very friendly and helpful to us. We were new to the Chicago area and we received concise advice for bus connections as well as dinner suggestions. I did get stuck in the elevator for about 15min. The speaker phone was very garbled, so I used my cell phone to call my wife and she contacted the front desk. Also, the room cleaning seemed to take a long time in getting to our room. But we were in and out most of the time, so it was not a factor. One day at the business center 2 out of the three computers were down. Overall, I would come back to this Hotel.

My wife and I had an excellent time at the Courtyard by Marriott. The hotel is centrally located. The front desk staff was absolutely super; they could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Ms. X, thank you for making us feel at home on our anniversary. The rooms were very clean, we felt very secure in our room. We were very impressed with your staff and hotel. On our next stay in Chicago we will again stay at the Courtyard by Marriott.

The hotel is in a great location...very clean and safe. The front desk wasn't always the most polite when we called with questions. They weren't mean, they just seemed in a hurry or like we were bothering them. The door man was very friendly and stood in the rain to get us a cab. Overall it was a good experience and I'd stay here again.

Good location, clean room, friendly staff. Room was next to the elevators on the top floor, so you could hear the motors running all night

We were very comfortable here. The location was great - one block from the Magnificent Mile and easy to get to top tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful and we felt safe in a city we were visiting for the first time.
