4 stars that I gave to this hotel.
Date of Stay:
May, 2009
The pool was wonderful, the Jacuzzi was great, and maid service was very good. The bed and all the pillows wonderful. The internet access (complimentary) was not good. They did get me connected, but next morning was off again. I needed enternet. Shower did not work. It was pleasant, the employees pleasant. It did not feel deluxe at all. The beds were great as well as the pillows. I loved the pool - it was very clean, as well as the Jacuzzi, and not too busy. The shower did not work well and I so love my showers. The internet connection was not consistent. I very much needed it. The fridge was not very cold and very small, but I was glad to have it because I need it medically. It was not unpleasant but I would not go out of my way to recommend it.

This hotel was fine for our trip. We had several things we wanted to do in LA and they were spread around (Pasadena, Anaheim, Santa Montica, LAX). This hotel was not very close to any of them, but was fairly centrally located for access to all of them. It was very conviently located off a major highway in a secure neighborhood. There were lots of reseraunts very close to the hotel and lots of shopping with a grocery store next door and a large mall very close by. The rooms were nothing special, but were clean and good as a home base to crash after a day out. All of the room systems worked fine (air conditioning, shower, TV, internet) although the air conditioning was an in-room type that had the fan running all of the time (a little noisy). They did not provide complimentary breakfast but charged for a breakfast buffet. The buffet was fairly standard with eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereal, etc at a cost of *. The pool was outdoor and quite nice. It had a nice seating area and was well landscaped. It was not private at all as there were several rooms around the courtyard where the pool sat that had balconies that looked out on the pool. There was a hot tub present but we did not go in it. The staff were friendly and met our needs. They processed our room charge correctly and handled our one request for extra bedding quickly. Overall this was a fine hotel for our use and I would recommend it as a place to stay if you are planning on being out all day and just want a place to sleep.

Liked seclusion of the spa, pretty grounds around pool.

front desk was very friendly and the rooms are nicely prepped before we arrived. The service at breakfast can be a little more friendly

Very comfortable bed. Very nice upscale business traveler hotel.

Bed was very comfortable. Location of closet to the bathroom. I was pleased with our stay at this hotel. The bed and linens were top quality. There's a restaurant by the lobby area that serves breakfast so it was very convenient. Although a bit pricey; nonetheless, the food selection was very good.

Bad performance of the hotel staff (on phone only).

This hotel was in a great location, close to shops, dining and 60 freeway. Not much to dislike. It suited its purpose. Maybe would have liked a refrigerator. Staff was very polite. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Clean, and comfortable. The shower didn't work at first, little old, stayed there 17 years ago. Overall, this is a nice hotel. I stayed there 17 years ago. Not much has changed. It is still nice.

Competency of the staff. Noisy clients upstairs. We were very pleased with the accommodating staff. Someone inserted an inappropriate coin in the washing machine, making it inoperable. The staff not only washed our laundry, but dried, folded and had it ready for us at the front desk.

A City block away from a great park, major mall (back to the future) good restaurants. Breakfast not served until 7:30 on weekends. Room did not provide a luggage stand. I would stay at this hotel again.

Easy access to the 60 freeway, clean and affordable, friendly staffs, quiet and very relaxing location. None. The hotel was nice, very clean and has outstanding staffs that are friendly, courteous and very helpful. They helped me when I asked them for directions. I Highly recommend this Hotel to Friends and Family.

Clean, professional, easy with available requests. Asked for room with 2 beds. No go.

The room. Staff not too friendly. I got a bad impression when the staff told me that it was up to the hotel to offer two beds per room or not. I felt that I did not need to know that. I did not feel very welcomed. But the rooms came with a pull out bed and a very comfortable king size bed.

Mini ref. King bed. My stay was well.

In the morning there was a wonderful view of the mountains. It was kind of out of the way.
Date of Stay:

I really liked the space of the room, high ceiling and spacious all around. My kids went to have breakfast and the personnel allowed the "minors" to charge breakfast to the account, without parent consent! The hotel was clean and the personnel was very attentive.

Great location in the middle of the east la metro. Lack of close by restaurants. Very well managed property. Staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. I've stayed here at a least four times over the past 15 years and it has always been a pleasure. Freeway access is close but far enough away to give the area a neighborhood feel. Only complaint is the lack of nice sit down restaurants nearby. Otherwise it gets my highest recommendation.
