I booked this hotel online and stayed there for 5 days and happy with the room I got. It was nice and clean. I would stay there again. However, after I got back from the trip my palm and feet got itching for 3 days. My speculation is bed tick bites but I have no prove of it and my 4 years old daughter has no problem. So like I say I would stay there again since location and $$ fit my budget

The photos online are a little misleading. The lobby is very nice but the rooms look nothing like the rooms shown in the pictures; so I was a little disappointed after finally getting into my room. Plus, my reservation was cancelled and it took Travelocity and the hotel staff 2 hours to get me a room. I didn't actually get into the room unitl 1:15am. The dining facility was nice though but the room really was a huge disappointment. It wasn't bad but I just expected better especially after I had stayed in another Marriott hotel in ATL the previous weekend, that was so much better. I just kinda expected the same type standards. I would probably stay again but it would not be my first choice.

I had never been to Fairfax, VA, so it was unknown where this hotel was located and how the stay would be. I was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the hotel staff. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. To me, very important factors when looking for a hotel. I enjoyed the fitness center and we even had breakfast at the hotel one morning. It was an easy enjoyable expereince. I would stay here again!

The purpose of our trip was to visit D.C. but to keep our costs as low as possible. We were very pleased with the hotel in every way. It was close to I-66 which took us into town (about 20 miles away). The hotel was in a safe, pleasant area. The staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciated the complimentary coffee in the lobby, along with the option to purchase breakfast in the lobby. We especially enjoyed the booths with televisions in the dining area. They provided a nice, comfortable place to relax, without being in your room all the time. We used the pool and hot tub, which were both fine. One thing that impressed me the most was there were no surprises. The costs were exactly as represented and the hotel was as nice as it was advertised. We would stay here again and also recommend it to others.

The Hotel was so modern and fun we sat at the fire pit one night and visited with friends and another night we sat in the very stylish lobby and watched a football game on a big flat screen. Very impressed. Fort Worth Texas

I traveled to VA with my son to meet my new inlaws. The hotel is has a contemporary feel and has complimentary coffee and newspapers in the lobby. The cafe is nice...food is good. Staff is very friendly here and was very accommodating to our special dietary needs. The rooms were very clean and the price was great. I would stay here again anytime. We also used the pool and hot tub...very nice amenities in this hotel for the money.

This Marriot Courtyard hotel fit our needs almost to a T. The reason for our visit to this area was to see and visit the historical monuments and government buildingfs in and around D.C. Our grandson works in downtown D.C. but lives in Fairfax, VA, so he would pick us up every morning on his way to work and we would ride the Metro together. WE found the staff to be very friendly & courteous. The room was always clean and the bed made every day after we had spent all day walking around downtown D.C. We really enjoyed the spa & pool after a long day of sight seeing.

Pillows, mattress excellent and business center wereexcellent. Room was directly across from ice machine. New, modern, interactive flat screen monitors for directions/weather/attractions. Very convenient to highway, very nice exercise room. I was traveling with my 91 year mother who uses a walker and she was very pleased with hotel as well.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The first night we were there we wanted to go get some snacks for the week so we asked about a target or walmart close by. They gave us directions and it was about 5 to 10 min away. However, we realized when we got back that there is actually a grocery store right next door. That would have been nice to know before driving around looking for walmart. Over all, the hotel is very clean. Nice beds, quiet rooms. Only drawback for the hotel for my family was that the indoor pool was only open from 5 to 10 during the week. And because we were in the area for a wedding, we didn't always get back early enough to go swimming and the kids really wanted to. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and helpful. And if you are wanting to stay outside D.C. but be able to go in to sightsee, then this hotel is nice for that because there is a metro station about 5-10 minutes away. It is easy to get to and you can just take about a 20-30 min ride into D.C. and not have to worry about driving. Just be sure to get to the metro station early, as parking fills up quickly in the morning. I must say, I would stay here again if I ever make it back there. It was worth it.

This hotel is in the perfect location for either business or leisure travel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There are slider doors which open up to either a patio (1st floor) or balcony overlooking a courtyard. There was an outdoor fireplace as well as lounge furniture outside. Housekeeping was very attentive. Check in and out was a breeze. Metro bus stop is right outside the hotel, Metro train park and ride a short drive. Only 1 bistro-type restaurant on-site, opened for dinner only, but there is a grocery store next door as well as several restaurants in walking/driving distance, offering both fast food or sit down meals. I will definitely book this hotel next time I'm visiting D.C.

The hotel's location is perfect. It is easy acess to the high ways which makes getting around easy. It is also close to major malls and restaurants for an easy dinning out. The staff are very polite and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. It feels very secured.

The rooms and lobby were first class, stunning! Spotless. The entry and exit could use some imagination. This hotel far exceeded my expectation, especially for the money. I travel this time with two very picky older teenagers and the first words out of the mouth was Awesome hotel for a change! I highly recommend this hotel for either the business or leisure traveler. It is located very in the center of City and County of Fairfax.

My experience staying at the Courtyard by Marriott at Fairfax, VA was a very good one. The room was very comfortable, it had wireless and wired internet for free. The staff were very friendly. The food in the hotel was not very good but there are other options outside the hotel. There are a few restaurants nearby. The Vienna/Fairfax/GMU metro station is relatively close to the hotel and it is very easy to travel from there to many Washington DC/Virginia/Maryland locations.
