My experience at the Marriott was very good overall. The room was very attractive, comfortable and clean. Overall it was a good experience. I felt it was overpriced, but recognized it was a big Syracuse weekend and they could afford to be pricey. I felt safe and comfortable despite the price.

It was centrally located . The bathroom did not have a fan. I have stayed here before.

I was woken out of a sound sleep at 10 am (luckily...or I'd have missed Church that Sunday) by ""housekeeping"". The ""do not disturb"" sign was small so I didn't even notice it hanging on the door. The room was delightfully dark, so it was easy to get a good night's sleep! When I finally emerged...the smile on every one of the staff (and in particular, the housekeeper) definately got my day off to a great start! I think the schedule for St Matthew's Church was incorrect...the Mass begins at 11am...not 11:30!

Upon arrival, we were delighted with our accomodation and the excellent service we received from hotel staff. Our room was spacious, extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. Lots of counter space and storage space for our clothes. Beds were very comfortable. Hotel staff answered all our questions, were quite friendly and accomodated our request for a room change on our second night so that we could simply have a different view from our hotel room. Complimentary breakfast buffet offered a variety of hot and cold options. Complimentary coffee and cookies at all times was much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the Syracuse area.

Pool area - bright; lots of windows over hot tub. Ice maker broken on our level; no frig or microwave available - not even to rent.

Cleanliness and friendly staff. The hotel was lovely--clean and very attractive. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Due to time lines, we did not use the pool but it looked very inviting and we would certainly stay there again.

This hotel delivered the good night's rest I wanted. No free breakfast. Comfortable and clean.

Location and predictability of amenities. Staff offered cookies and water to customer in front of me, but not me. A predictably reliable Courtyard experience. Clean and comfortable stay.

Courtyard by Marriott-Syracuse customer servicehelpful and accommodating. Courtyard by Marriott (national) customer service-unhelpful bordering on rude. Room was very nice other than smoke smell. Our room reeked of smoke. We had to open the sliding door to air it out.

The bed was great, linens were nice and pull-out sofa helped as we could only get a king sized bed.

Location, facilities. Dirty sheets, small room, expensive.

Liked the pool and that kids eat free for breakfast. NA. Was a great stop over for weary family on long road trip. Liked that it had a king bed with separate pullout couch for kids. Service very good at breakfast. Pool was good.

I actually was turned off by the staff at the front desk. No real positives to share. Would not give me a room with two beds. They had plenty of 2 bed rooms available. Stayed the two previous nights at the Doubletree in East Syracuse directly next to this Marriott. The Doubletree and Marriott were both 2.5 stars but I would say my experience with the Marriott was more of a 2 star experience.
Date of Stay:

The bed wasn't located on the sharing wall with the room next door. No monitoring of teenagers in the pool area to make sure they were respectful of other guest. EXCELLENT, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The accommodations were comfortable.

Very nice room. Breakfast was not offered. Very nice room and we would stay again if we're traveling in that direction in the future.

High speed internet available in room. This was the first time when I asked for two rooms that they were not adjoining rooms. So, we asked for adjoining rooms at desk and were told there were none available, both adjoining rooms had no one in them the next morning. We and friends were on separate floors; staff was too lazy to make the change when we checked in was not friendly about our request.

Friendly staff. Helpful with directions. Room a little cramped (closet close to bed). I would stay here again. Great value. Clean, convenient to Syracuse airport. Staff very friendly and professional. Plenty of parking.

The staff was friendly & helpful, and the rooms were clean The heating system was not working properly. On the whole, the hotel was good. It did not seem to be the quality one expects with a Marriott, but for one night, there was nothing bad.
