The Courtyard Marriott was a great hotel. Our stay included a trip to Graceland, Lynchberg, Botanical Gardens, Beale Street and Riverboat Cruise. The hotel bed was extremely comfortable. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Good restaurants were close by.

The room was comfortable. It was not the easiest to find off the interstate exit. Train tracks out our windows. Very nice hotel. Unfortunately it is not the easiest to find off the interstate and it located next to train tracks with trains that run all through the night. The hotel was clean and pleasant. Free internet and computers in the lobby. Other than the train it was very nice, once we found it.

My sister and I had a pre-payed reservation for 4/3/2009 & 4/4/2009. We flew in from Los Angeles, California to attend a funeral. The lady working the front desk could not find our reservation. When she finally found it, we were told that there were only handicapped rooms available. We were very upset because we payed in advance and expexcted to have accomodations. I felt that she should have called another hotel if she couldn't accomodate us & a room should have been reserved for us because it was pre-payed. We are not handicapped. This was the worst experience that I've had with a hotel chain.

This hotel was near perfect. My boyfriend and I LOVED it!!! The bed was extremely comfortable and and the room was pretty clean. We also had a nice view from the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would say the only minus was there was no microwave in the room. I would definately stay here again.

Room -- good size & working space; very comfortable bed & good sheets. Hotel staff very good at respecting Do Not Disturb sign (problem I've encountered at other places). Very near a P.F. Changs and several malls; short drive to other restaurants and the Memphis Botanic Garden. Free internet in the room and morning coffee a definite plus. My only complaint is that the description/pricing for the breakfast buffet was confusing.

The beds were incredible! No free breakfast. I was told by a clerk that morning breakfast is included in the room. With breakfast I got up later so that I wouldn't have to go anywhere. In the morning I was told that breakfast was not free and was over $22.00. I was told it was free and it was not and I did not have time to find a fast food restaurant for breakfast. I did not appreciate this.

Hotel was very well ran, I think they need to have towels in the whirlpool and pool areas. The only complaints I had was the microwave in lounge area was a mess and there is a lot of train traffic nearby. Management was excellent the male manager quickly stepped in and helped the restaurant staff when they got a little behind

Had a room overlooking pool/courtyard so view was nice. However, I had my children with me and was fearful of letting them play on the provided patio. I saw in two different places where decorative brick structures were directly against the pool fence. Children could EASILY climb over and go right into the pool. Their hot tub is inside the building and they left the doors to it propped open. Don't let your child out of your sight for fear they may wander down that hall and fall right in. NO microwave in room and blow dryer was not a permanently attached one. After taking a shower I was in a panic because I thought they didn't supply one. Called to front desk and they delivered one.

We found this hotel to have rooms that were neat and clean-We had a room overlooking the pool so was quiet--Friends had room near R.R. tracks that we found to be noisey especially at night(many trains)-We would stay here again when we return to Memphis--

We were happy with the room, only the maid did not come every day to clean. We had to ask for cleaning, but afterwards it was ok.

It was very clean and refreshing. None. The hotel was clean and new looking it felt safe and secure. I would recommend courtyard Marriott and the front desk was very friendly and gave great customer service.

Location worked well for us as our desk staff were ready with direction cards for all the major sites, so getting downtown was an easy shot armed with step by step how-tos. Nicely appointed quiet room with free internet, Central business center in lobby was nice for easy trip planning. Neighborhood was good for restaurants and shopping center within 2 block radius or head for the downtown Beale St. fun. Staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast in lobby will run 10 bucks easy, but is a value given selection and fresh omelet options.

"Convenient location for many out of town guests. Everything appeared to be recently removated. The room was clean and well decorated. Slightly dissapointed that the hot tub area was still being worked on. It appeared that they were less than a week from competion though.Be aware that the hotel is beside a hospital and train tracks. Our room was away from both and very quite. Get a room with a view of the pool/courtyard if you can and you should not be disappointed.Breakfast buffet was also very satisfying. More choices than one would expect, so no one goes away hungry. "
