Great staff. Always on the top of the problems. A bonus for the maintenance department. They fixed a problem in less than 5 minutes. I will stay again on my next visit to U.S..

It's a nice enough hotel,but when i go there,i go to the Duke Clinic.I am given a medical discount,which i wasn,t given, because i made my reservations through Orbitz.

Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Good location near Duke University (wife and I went to a basketball game). Safe part of town. Rooms clean. Had wireless internet and 2 PCs (which were in use whenever I walked by them, but I never tried to use them). Didn't try the 9 breakfast buffet. I would stay there again.

This Courtyard hotel is very nice for the price. The room was spacious, clean, and stylish. Shower and toilet were in a separate room from the sink and mirror. This is a nice feature for more than one to a room. Coffemaker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board were all there. The breakfast was good and included make your own waffles. Good location off of highway 147 and close to Duke. Convient shopping center across the street which includes some restaurants. There was only one thing that I did not like about the hotel....the shower. The tub was not flat and it was uncomfortable to stand on a sloped floor. Never experience this before anywhere. Not sure if all the bathrooms were like this or not. It was not a big deal just unusual.

Wife andI stayed here on our wedding night staff always great and very helpful. I find this hotel one of the best for the area easy access and staff always friendly very seldom do you get so many nice people working in the same place, great for late checkouts and just good people incl housekeeper very nice.

Front desk staff very helpful. Bed was uncomfortable and the blanket made me feel like I was in a hospital.

Clean and comfortable - and smoke free! Room small - especially when sofa bed out. Conveniently located near highway, this hotel was clean and comfortable. Coffee shop across street was a nice bonus.

Newly decorated room, nice pool area, good location. No rooms available for first night despite a reservation for 2 nights. Sent us to an inferior hotel for 1st night. Hotel was over-booked so they made us go to a sub-standard hotel for the first night even though there were rooms available at a nearby Courtyard. The hotel is nice and freshly decorated. Alarm clock has an I Pod dock feature. Pool area was great. TV had the auxiliary inputs disabled so could not plug in cameras to see vacation photos.

Clean, comfortable, nice linens, friendly staff. Can't think of anything. I have never had a bad experience staying at a courtyard by Marriott. They are always clean and comfortable with adequate accommodations. I like the fact that they are always similarly decorated, because you know what to expect which adds to the comfort level. The staff at the Durham courtyard was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed had nice linens. Couldn't have asked for more.

A real window that could be opened at night. The "credit card" room key. The room "key should have a printed winning to alert senior citizens that when placed in your wallet with real credit cards the card will be erased and you lose access to the hotel and your room. The label only says store the credit card sized room key in a "safe place." it seems likely to me that a safe place is in your wallet.

Very clean and roomy, the bed was very comfortable. I liked the overall lay-out of the room separate grooming area from the toilet and shower area. Large comfortable couch and comfortable mattress.

Good lobby, service, and location. Free wireless internet is so slow that I can not wait for. Very good location to go to Duke University for less than five min. All kinds of service are good enough to me excluding wireless internet. It is also so convenient for travelers to go shopping or eating nearby. One gas station is located on the corner of the hotel.

Hotel staff very friendly and was able to check in quickly. I thought there should have been more accommodations, that is hairdryer. The hotel and restaurant were very nice and I got a great price for it. For a being a Marriott, I thought there would have been more accommodations, but I came prepared, so I did not have a problem this time.

The sheets were soft and clean and the staff was super friendly. When you got of the interstate it was a little confusing trying to find the entrance. Good, comfortable and clean with helpful staff.

For a hotel of this class, the furnishings were very modern. Everything was spotlessly clean. I have no complaints. I will definitely try to stay here again when I return to Durham. It is easy driving distance from duke and other parts of Durham, and the rooms and lobby well-furnished and clean. This hotel exceeded my expectations of a 2.5 star. The styling was more contemporary (clean lines, not frilly) than I have come to expect from hotels of this class.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent! When I return to this area I will book a room at the hotel and will recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family.
