This was a great hotel to stay at and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The pool was off site and gym was very hard to find making it not receive 5 star in my book. The other downfall was that the breakfast buffet cost $11.95! Kind of steep for me! Other than that the room was spotless and taxi service is really easy to arrange with the front desk into DC or anywhere else nearby.

Very clean and up to date. Right across the street from the Dunn Louring Metro. The pool was freezing cold. No complimentary lotion. The breakfast costs $12; too expensive for what they offer.

3 couples of us stayed here for 4 nights, rooms were very nice, walking distance to metro is easy and convenient, front desk folks were very helpful, enterprise rent a car location is also within walking distance, olive garden is about 1mile or so away. Rooms have refrigerator only no microwave - but no big deal for us. We did not use the pool or exercise room - did not have time! We would stay again and if you are visiting DC this is a good place to stay off the beaten path but easy for metro access.

This was a beautiful hotel! Breakfast and dinner were wonderful with great service. The rooms looked like brand new, the beds were great and sheets perfectly pressed. I will be back. The Metro stop is accross the street which was perfect for getting to DC during my free time.

There are several restaurants, bars and stores within walking distance of the hotel. Great location near Metro stop. All sights and points of interest easily reachable via the Metro system. Transportation system outstanding when bus system combined w/rail transportation. Our room at the hotel was really comfortable and spacious. We had a great balcony, but no chairs or table available to use. Our king-sized bed was really comfortable and relaxing for sleeping. The room certainly compared very favorably with rooms that we have had for previous vacations. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while visiting the DC area.

Very close and convenient to the Metro station, staff was very helpful. Not many options for eating places - close other than hotel buffet, which was expensive. Very nice. Comfortable and convenient to the Metro. Good place to stay for business or leisure traveling. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Very nice accomodations, however 2 out of the 3 nights I was there the hotel had no hot water. We spent two days sightseeing in the DC area without having had showers...yuck! The worst part was when checking out and having the manager tell me I would not be compensated in any way because technically I was a customer who booked online and not of Courtyard by Marriott. Ridiculous!

For visitors to the DC area, the Courtyard by Marriott in Dunn Loring is wonderful. Complementary parking and in-room internet is a plus, as is the very near Metro station. Breakfast is a bit expensive, but there are several nearby restaurants as an option.

Refrigerator, and free internet. Pool hours too limited. The first room smelled like smoke. They gave me a new room right outside the elevator. Didn't want to complaint and move again but wasn't happy .

The room was beautiful and very well kept for us. Internet access was easy and the breakfast was great. We used the easy walk to the Metro to go to the Zoo and it was easy, smooth and pleasant. Parking at the hotel was underground so it was out of the weather which was great since it rained the weekend we were there. All the staff were very helpful telling us how to get to places and even the drug store(which was only a few block away) for an unexpected medicine. The neighborhood was not really nice because there was alot of construction but there was no noise and the hotel made up for it. We will definitely go there for our next trip to DC. It was even close to Tysons Corner mall, largest in DC!

Loved having a refrigerator in room at no additional cost.

Our family stayed here while visiting DC. It was very convenient and we were very pleased with one exception - we would have truly benefited from a continental breakfast to which we have become so accustomed at most all hotels. This is the ONLY thing we would have changed.

Front desk never smiles and greet guest. Above all the hotel is excellent.

The hotel is located right across the street from the Dunn Loring metro station and is very convenient! The hotel is very clean, and the rooms were spacious enough for a single traveler. Dining options are somewhat limited for the weekend if you do not have a car, because the restaurant downstairs does not serve lunch or dinner on the weekends.

Great staff, and excellent exercise room. Construction on nearby road. New hotel with all modern facilities. Good location for Metro and 495.

Spotless large size room and bathroom, next to Dunn Loring Metro Station an excelent choice for getting into DC and visit all the monuments and museums. Quiet nighborhood safe for walking late at night from metro station to hotel.

Location and computer availability. It lost electricity for more than 12 hours but was unwilling to offer any financial compensation for this serious inconvenience. The hotel staff needs to be more empowered to address critical issues with guests. This hotel lost electricity during a severe snowstorn -- the outage lasted more than 12 hours during which there was no not water, lights, etc, in guest rooms. They offered a free breakfast.Very disappointing -- and inconvenient.

This hotel is a block from the Metro station and as such is minutes away from everything in downtown D.C. It really is a great value and a great location. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are very comfortable. They have a great breakfast buffet, as well. This is my home away from home in D.C.

Free internet and good breakfast buffet (not free). Small TV and remote did not work. Comfortable rooms and convenient location due to nearby Metro (easy to get into DC).

The hotel was a great value for the price. Rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is easy to get to and has secured underground parking. I was disappointed with the dining options at the hotel, which simply consisted of a breakfast buffet that was relatively costly (around $15) and a snack bar that sold drinks, candy bars, and chips.
