Good location in the City, could walk to many of the attractions. The rooms were clean but very small. Parking was expensive and the hallways were very loud. at one point in the night a group of people were outside our room making alot of noise.

The staff moved us to a room with two beds with a great view and allowed early check-in. The room was tiny and the keys were tricky in the elevators. Overall it met my expectations. The bathroom door was weird, a sliding door, and it was small. As was the room, but comfortable beds with a nice view and a big TV!

The rooms were clean, it was a treat to come back from a day of shopping and be greeted with fruit and cookies at the front desk.

Spent a day/nite in Boston built around a terrific Red Sox win at Fenway

Great location for many different attractions. Very small dark room with funny smell. Okay for the price, would never pay rack rate. Good downtown location close to parks, theater and shopping. Very small room, few amenities, temperature regulation was tough.

Hotel rooms were tiny. No bath tub. Had a peculiar smell. Doors slammed loud. Bad location, heard police sirens all night behind hotel. TV sound hard to control. Overall stay was poor in all areas.

The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the theater district and is only a short walk to a number of theaters. The room was tiny with not much room to move around in & anyone looking for spacious accommodations will not find it here. The bathroom was barely large enough for one person. The hotel only serves breakfast. On Saturday night the bar draws a very large crowd, with extremely loud music. Fortunately we were on the 12th floor but I expect that anyone on the lower floors would not have escaped being blasted. I picked the hotel because of its proximity to a concert we were attending. The staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly the doorman, a delightful gentleman. While its always expensive to park in Boston, Parking was $36 for one night.

The free coffee in the morning. Sharon at the Front desk was rude at check in. My check in was most undesirable. The reservationist was rude, kept me waiting as she did tasks for about 12 minute. She did not great me or even say hello, the only thing she wanted from me was my CC. She did not inform me that one needs a key card to operate the elevator. I requested a room with a bat but got one with a shower when I complained to the manager she was evasive and said she wouldn't be able to do so. When I pressed further she reluctantly complied but I had to call after 3 pm which I did. This delayed my sight seeing I flew in specifically early in the morning to be able to explore the city. I moved my things to a new room waited all day all to find she placed me in another room without a bath. I moved back to my old room as the room she put me in had to small beds - I am 6;1

Based on the very small rooms, I felt I was in a 4 star European hotel. Rooms in the back of the hotel are very nosiy during the night. Truck deliveries start at 4 am. !!!

Very nice older hotel which has been renovated. Several blocks from Boston Commons. Walking distance to Transit system and Freedom Trail. Had large desk and work space for business if needed. The only negatives were that it had a stand alone closet which was blocked by the desk so hanging clothes was a challenge. Also the bathroom had limited space to place items. But overall would stay at the hotel again due to the convenience.

Location. Small rooms, minimal facilities, appeared very old.

The rooms were painfully small, the flat panel TV on the wall was at an akward position on the wall (all the way towards the window out of view from the bed), the concierge was no help, 32 to park your car in the garage overnight--we parked in the street on the same block for free. We will never stay at the Marriott again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Small rooms and bath rook. The hotel was easy to find and the staff was very courteous and helpful. A+ for the staff. Room and bathroom were very small, but worked out just fine.

It was pretty, convenient and staff was very helpful. They even found me a nail file in a girl emergency and a trolley tour for my friend. After an event I came back at 2:20 am and the club around the corner had just let out with some scary people. I never named my own place before and I put in for a 3 star hotel. I was nervous about where I would be. When I got there it was just as pretty as the 4 to 5 star places I usually stay only 1 block over. To my surprise the room was nicer, the staff was friendly and funny. I found a great new place to stay for 1/3 of the price I normally stay in and had a much better experience.

Centrally located to downtown Boston. Overnight parking in the hotel garage was expensive.

Public computers were slow and gym equipment was inadequate. Wish there were more TV channels!

Friendly helpful staff in a wicked location. No room service. If you're looking for convenience and access to Bostons downtown core - everything in walking distance, and are not planning on spending too much time in the hotel this is a good choice for you. The rooms are very nice. The hotel does not offer many additional services - but if you're planning on enjoying Boston, and not the hotel you're good to go!

It was extremely convenient to all of the places we needed to be. The hotel was conveniently located in Boston. The hotel staff was extremely polite and the room was clean and neat, but small.

Nice location in the center of the city. Nobody picked up the phone at the reception when I called. The hotel is kind ofold. There is a nightclub on the 1st level, so make sure your room is far from that.
