Location is great. Outrageously priced breakfast that was not included. Great location near ASU and Mill, clean and spacious rooms.

If you travel alone, this hotel is OK. If you travel with family, the hotel room is way too small. We have 2 adults and 2 young children (age 4 and 2). There was nearly no room to walk after setting up a portable play pen for my little one.The service was not very good, either. I called front desk to ask for just one bath towel and waited for 1 hour. I gave up and did not call the front desk again. Nobody showed up after all. The room was somehow not very clean cause my girl had eczema (rash on the skin) next morning.Breakfast buffet was good but not cheap (9.95 per adult). I was told by the front desk staff that kids under 12 are free. But the server at the restaurant still charged us 3.95 per child. The only good thing is this hotel is close to Arizona State University if you need to visit your friends or family at ASU, or if you are here for the conference like my husband did. There are lots of restaurants withinn walking distance.

As a Marriott Rewards member I have stayed at many Marriott hotels. This one was below average. I am completely perplexed as to the price per night! I would pay 89 for this dark, old, below average room...but 269 !! No Way!! (I had reward points and stayed for free). I now know why there were hardly any people there and the pool was so nice and quiet! On the plus side, it is within walking distance of many restaurants and some neighborhood shopping. There is a spa quite close for massages and facials. The rooms were adequate and clean, but quite small, dark and stuffy. The pool was very clean and refreshing. The staff must have been ok...nothing comes to mind regarding them, good or bad. I'll stay again for the close restaurants and quite, clean pool, but only if I can get a rate under 120 a night!

This Marriot, located two blocks from downtown Tempe, was within walking distance of all downtown locales and bus line. Vacationers must be wary that this is a college town - several teams were checked in here, so the general atmosphere was loud, especially late at night. No quiet respite here, whether it be rowdiness in the parking lot or stereo thumping at 2 am.

The location was great walking distance of various places on Mill Ave. It was clean and it was better than I had expected.

Staff was very helpful! Rooms are basic, but clean and efficient. Free internet, free shuttle to airport, and free parking!

The location to downtown was good. The next door to a fire station that makes a lot of noise.

It was immaculate with an extremely courteous staff. Right next to train tracks. Excellent accommodations for someone traveling for the first time to Tempe. In walking distance to everything Tempe-Mill Ave & A.S.U. as well as the light rail and A mountain.

Location. Expensive breakfast. The location was good, would of liked to be able to plug in game system into room TV.

Excellent, smelled nice. Clean. Staff was professional. Busy outside because of the location of ASU next door. Excellent overall. Clean, and smelled great. The complimentary breakfast listed at this Hotel I thought meant free but it is not, you pay for your breakfast. Busy area due to Arizona State University just down the street. The sun was blocked by the tall sky rise building behind the hotel which didn't make swimming any fun. But friendly professional staff.

The staff was very kind, helpful and accommodating. They made my stay enjoyable. This hotel was very suitable for my travel needs. I would have probably rated it as average if it were not for the staff. The staff at the front desk made my stay excellent. They were very accommodating of my needs by extending my check out time to a late check out due to a conference I was attending. They were also friendly throughout my entire stay and made me feel very welcome.

It is convenient to have the restaurant in the hotel. The parking was crowded and the airplane noise was audible.

Staff., old shower. Great location, staff very helpful and nice. Only thing is that it is VERY close to Sky Harbor airport p but if you like night life., you'll be so tired you will not hear it.

Location - walking distance from ASU. Towels and sheets were old and tired. The location is a 3-star, but the details of the room were little more than a 2-star. The interior decorations, linens and general feel of the room was dated, old, and tired. Not dirty, not shabby, but also not a crisp 3-star. Public rooms were fine and the staff was very helpful. Food okay, not great.

Great location to ASU. Train tracks and Firehouse next to hotel. Noisy at night from train and fire trucks. Location is right on ASU campus with shopping and many restaurants within walking distance.

Horrible moldy smell throughout hotel, had strip club advertisements all over our car every time we left it, cooler been broken. This hotel was horrible!! It smelt so bad of moldy towels. The beds are hard as rocks, and the cooler was broken in our room, we called down to the front desk 3 times and nothing was ever done about it. This hotel is located right in the middle of the club section of Tempe, so it is not kid friendly at all, you can hear the constant thumping of the club music all night long!!! We were very disappointed in this hotel.

Very close to Mill Avenue. Bathrooms were old and dirty. Very close to everything on Mill Avenue. I would not consider this a 3 star hotel, 2.5 at best. Staff was friendly.
