The hotel is located in the center of town so there is a lot to enjoy after work. There are many resturants, shops and movie theaters within a block of the hotel. The hotel itself has a very nice lounge with free wireless. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the internet connection was a bit slow (too slow to use Google maps) and that there is no onsite gym. I highly recommend it to the business traveller who does not want to be cooped up in the hotel after work.

Great location very clean. Bar was nice but bartender could not mix cocktails. Nice clean hotel. Comfortable beds with stylish and clean bedding. Responsive service. Fridge and cute one-cup-at-a-time coffee maker available.

The staff was great. Check-in was simple,rooms are very clean, would stay again. Short walks to movies and can't count all the place to dine with in walking distance

The Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Stamford was the perfect place to stay inside and out. The hotel staff was great. Any questions my wife and I had they answered with even more to add. Whether we were entering the building, or just coming out of the elevator, the staff always greeted us with a smile. The rooms were pretty spacious and comfortable including the bathroom. It was nice to sit on the couch and watch tv instead of the bed or chair. If you wanted to go swimming, they had an indoor pool. There's a restaurant on site that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With breakfast, you could have your eggs cooked to order but, for the price, you could find cheaper elsewhere. Don't forget to unwind in the lounge area where there's a small bar. The hotel only has valet parking but, it's worth it as parking outside is pretty much none. The location of the hotel was great. You just step outside and up and down the street are bars and restaurants. If you have time try out all the different restaurants from Indian food, Mexican food, pizza, Italian, and it just goes on and on. Target is around the corner, the mall is a few blocks away, there's a university around the corner as well, a movie theatre within steps of the hotel and a park that has live entertainment on certain nights. The train station is withing walking distance but, there's a hotel shuttle that will drop you off and pick you up. Remember to ask their time schedule. The train is very convenient to go into New York. Make sure you take a long walk all around the area. There are so many different old and new buildings to see as well as many monuments. We won't hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family. We will difinitely stay here again on our next visit.
