I was very happy with my trip. The hotel staff was very nice, very helpfull. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is good. The valid parking is expensive ($43.00/day) but living in downtown we have to pay for it. I will stay there again.

This Hotel was very clean, with a friendly efficient staff, for the price. You are alittle off the beaten path south of Market but tours, for instance, pick up at the door so you can get around that. Room was clean and serviceable. Public transportation runs from the hotspots along Market so you are a brief walk south back to this hotel. Two experienced local drivers told us this was one of the best hotels, economically, in town. If you are into the Giants this hotel is very close to the stadium.

This was a great hotel for the price. The room was very nice, although we didn't have a view. Close to the ballpark and Metreon. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was clean, neat, rooms were too. Close to ballpark, shopping, transportation. We didn't even need our car during the weekend.

This location is primely located for Financial District buildings and museums, and Union Square shopping. It is also a mere 3 blocks from the BART train, and Muni buses, trains and trolley. The Hotel staff was friendly and responsive. We arrived at the hotel 2 hours before check out time, but they were able to put us in a room immediately. We had a number of special requests and they came up right away to respond. Also, I had a business emergency and they sent and received many faxes for me free. My only complaint was that they charged $6 to receive a FedEx package.

nothing really negative to say about this place. one of the best deals price wise on travelocity. you can never go wrong with marriott. clean comfortable rooms, great showers, great service, nice bar, just great overall atmosphere. WILL stay here again next time. try the indian restaurant across the street. its awesome.

The hotel was nice, clean, and staff friendly but the hotel was downtown and traffic was really bad during the week days. If you are there to vacation and do not have business in the area I would recommend a different part of town. There were not a lot of restaurants in walking distance especially for breakfast.

I liked the king bed with pullout sofa which accommodated all four of us. I arrived at the hotel extremely exhausted only to find my room did not have accommodations requested. The hotel was classy, great location in downtown, free WIFI, pool, clean, accommodating, kept up.

The beds are among the very best I've ever slept in - better than my own at home! The staff was always very courteous and helpful, and the room was decent size too. I cannot stress enough how comfortable the beds were! The bathroom wasn't amazing, but was of decent quality. The location is very close to the interstate (about 2 blocks away), and a very short drive to Chinatown - or a long walk. The price I got at the time was amazing, but the normal price is a little out of my budget (I got it for about &*, but the current avg is *. There was free wifi, but there was no signal throughout most of the building - I had to go down to the lobby, which was inconvenient. There was, however, a dataport, but I did not have an ethernet cable with me. There is no complimentary parking, although valet is priced average (about * at the time). The nearest off-street parking is about * a day. Given the normal price, I expected a minibar and/or a kitchenette. However, overall, I was impressed and plan to stay there again.

Huge party on our floor - broken glass, loud music, slamming doors, etc. Fire and evacuation on a floor above us with lots of sirens, commotion, fear and disruption. We got two hours of sleep and had a miserable stay. Staff was apologetic but not compensatory.

Quick check-in, friendly staff, friendly valet. Valet parking at $43 a night! Comfortable, clean accommodations in an excellent location in the SF financial district and within walking distance or a short cab ride to South of Market clubs.
