I stayed at the hotel while attending a conference in Union Station. It was a few long blocks from the station which was reasonable, however I would have liked a bit more lighting around the hotel since I did a good bit of walking during the day as well as night. The hotel provided all the necessities, including free access to computers and internet, which allowed me to take care of a few minor business items while there. The mattress felt a bit old, but the hotel was very clean and comfortable with a kind staff.

Lobby was very nice and kind of neat. Staff was excellent. Friendly Staff. Courtyard was neat, very well manicured with lots of trees and plants. Lobby was very neat and modern. Room was very clean.

The hotel is a 5 minute drive to downtown and a few blocks from the metro station, but it's a world cheaper than staying downtown. We loved it and would stay here again. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and freshly redecorated and the courtyard was a real treat.

This hotel allows for larger vehicles which most parking downtown does not. Its very comfortable and very nice and welcoming whether you are a construction worker or a business person.

The lobby was very clean and well kept. Very modern. The woman who checked us in was quite rude. My partner and I were traveling with a visitor from Ghana, age 16. We selected downtown as the location to pick our hotel but this was about 3 miles from downtown and was in a relatively borderline neighborhood. There were a lot of young boys hanging around the parking lot swearing and even many of the guests with crooked hats, pants hanging well below the buttocks, and over sized clothing. This is all fine and well but it was just that 90% of the people we saw were of this nature and the parking lot felt very unsafe. When we checked in, there were three of us and I asked the woman at the front desk if we could have a room with two beds. She said nope. We all looked at her absolutely astonished. She then offered a roll away bed and had it sent to the room. She was not polite in the least and certainly not welcoming. I don't believe she even checked to see if she had a room available with two beds.

I am a travel agent, and would reccomend this hotel to all that I book travel with. Very friendly staff. The night desk clerk changed the room I had been given, so that I would have a room with a view, when he was told that this was my first visit to St. Louis. I will have to make more trips to St. Louis next year. This will be my hotel of choice.

The Courtyard Mariott was a nice hotel for the money. The room was big with a couch and desk. The pool reno was supposed to be finished 2 weeks before our stay and it was still not done. Hotel staff friendly.

The room was clean and comfortable. We got more than we paid for. If I had to pick something, I guess the shampoo and conditioner bottles were very small for two people. The hotel was easy to find and had ample parking. The front desk staff was polite and helpful. The room was a step above what I am used to it was not just clean, but comfortable and updated too.

This is an ideal place to stay when you visit St. Louis. Great rooms, friendly, helpful service. Good buffett. Free Parking. Close and convenient to Downtown. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Free parking & nice courtyard area, mini fridge. Room did not accommodate 4 adults, not clean, old pool area. It was quite a walk to the downtown area & if we hadn't been traveling with a group, safety would have been a concern. The beds were uncomfortable & room small. The room they gave us to accommodate 4 adults only did so with a pull out sofa. There was no vending on our floor you had to go the the front desk area. The rooms, pool area could definitely use some updating, but was quite & had a more private atmosphere. Our room still had dirty towels in it, and housekeeping was done right rude when we asked for sheets & pillows to make up the pull out couch as a bed. Front desk staff was also unhelpful in giving directions for a breakfast restaurant. Would not recommend this hotel.

Sharp modern lobby. Could not sleep after swimming - something in pool made me itch like fiberglass.

4 computers that offer internet access plus one that let us print boarding pass. No shop around that area.

I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, and the staff was great. I enjoyed the whole experience. No dislikes. The hotel was centrally located and served my needs. The staff showed great hospitality from check.

I liked have the internet, was great to be able to get on a computer and check for coupons and emails. Coffee was out and they did not refill when asked. The walls were thin, as you could hear rooms on both sides of you. Had an oldAC unit, not central air. The room was small, but fine. The pools was small and echoed bad, every sound the kids made seemed to be very loud.

Good location. Noise at night, trouble with toilet running and air.

Nice courtyard, good location. Our room was tiny! It was half the size of the other rooms in the hotel. I was placed in a room that was half the size of the other rooms in the hotel. We were crammed in a corner and had a King room with a fold out couch. When the couch was folded out you could not walk through the room. When I asked if I could change rooms I was told no.

Safe and quiet- very nice lobby. Air conditioner in room rattled- no good views of Arch. Great hotel- no great views of Arch since several blocks east of downtown, but we got the one room on the end that had a slight view (tree kind ofin way). Staff super friendly and helpful on attractions/restaurants recommendations.
