breakfast is just like the marriott residence, where breakfast is included. I was disppointed. If I was paying 15 dollars a person, I think we deserve a more approriate selection.

The room was improperly booked and the staff fixed it without question.

Beautiful hotel with a great location and clean comfortable rooms! Unfortunately there were hidden costs associated with my stay - parking ($*night ON hotel grounds) and breakfast was not included. Write-up made it seem as if it was included for hotel guests.

Was staying in this hotel for 2 weeks and coordinating up to 5 people coming in going from my buisness team during this 2 weeks. First they couldn't, after repeated calls and going to the front desk, get the names and dates right for the travelers in my group. They had inconsistent quality of service at the front desk, and Its been over week later and i still haven't recieved my corrected bill after leaving a message every day since. Will never recommend staying at a downtown hotel longterm. Especially this one. A clean room can only count for so much.

Perfect location to attend all the events at our daughter's graduation from RISD. Providence has a lot to offer but convient parking is low on the list. The Marriots location enabled us to walk to everything.

Cleanliness, up to date with modern conveniences, complimentary wireless, large screen TV - staff very friendly and accommodating. A few of the guests were a little loud in the morning, The hotel was bright, clean and had a very pleasant atmosphere - great staff. The rooms were very nice and offered modern conveniences including complimentary wireless and large screen TV. The beds were excellent. I usually don't sleep well in hotels, but slept like a baby in this one. Would definitely stay here again.

Labor day weekend my husband and 5 yr old child stayed in a King room with pullout couch. There was lots of room to spread out, the room had a coffee table, which was a nice additiont o the large desk and dresser/credenza. Would have liked a mini-refrigerator, but ther was none. Only minus was the non-working elevator! only one elevator working, many delays.

The Prividence Courtyard by Marriott is a very comfortable base in the center of the city. It's located adjacent to the convention center and Providence Place shopping center, and several restaurants are in the immediate area. The restaurants of Main street (and further on College Hill) are an easy walk across the river. The hotel itself is very clean and new and staff were friendly and helpful. Just be aware of the $20 parking charge for the hotel's garage.

The proximity to my daughter's college and other venues. I had a wonderful stay for my parent's weekend for Johnson and Wales College. It was a short 5 minute walk to the dorms with Providence Place Mall across the street and the Riverwalk right next door. Teh room was really large and very, very clean.

Location was excellent. Parking was very expensive. I liked the location of the hotel, but not the partking situation. As an overnight stay it was just what I needed.

The decor of room, the view out the window and honesty of staff. I accidentally left a necklace in the room. Housekeeping found it, put in a safe and then sent it to me, free of charge. Can't beat the honesty.

Location. Bed was below average in comfort, had to pay for parking. Great location, excellent staff, a little understaffed for traffic flow, did not like that parking was not included in hotel price, bed was rather firm and felt cheap, room and entire hotel was impeccable, room was set up in a very modern way and very confidently.

Location. Under construction, dirty elevators, noise from construction required me to move to a different room, parking fee was too high $22/day. The construction made it very difficult to enjoy my stay. There was no hotel dining because of construction. The elevators were a mess.

Location. Pay $22 for parking overnight. We parked and left the car there. Walked to mall, convention center, restaurants. Only issue we had was that the closest liquor store was a 20 minute walk.

Great location. Zero. Best place to stay to see water fire.
Date of Stay:

It is located right in the middle of everything, restaurants, the mall, etc. No real bar to grab a drink at-plus the traffic outside can be loud at times. Overall, it met my expectations. The rooms were very basic but clean. The staff was very good and was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to be right by the river walk and there are several very good restaurants right next door.

The room was a great size and was walking distance to most activities loved it. The parking fee of 19.00 a day and was not told. Loved the hotel room was great size and clean. I was within walking distance of many restaurants and theaters, also most events. I would of liked to know about the parking garage fee of 19.00 a day .

Great location, clean and friendly. Complimentary coffee in the room and convenience store were 2 star quality. Great location, clean and friendly. Parking cost extra $19 per day.

The location is perfect. Easy access from the freeway, right across from the mall. A view of the river walk and next door to great restaurants! Dang Harley Davidson Motorcycles late at night downtown making noise at 1:00am in the morning. The hotel is in a perfect location. Walking distance to the best restaurants, the Providence Place Mall and the River walk There is no bad room. There is a great view from ether side of the hotel. It is also easy to access to and from the I-95 freeway. They staff is friendly and helpful. (Great surprise in Rhode Island.)
Date of Stay:
May, 2006
Location. Loud party in the conference room below our room. No other rooms available. The hotel was very nice however there was a loud party in the conference room below our room and there were no other rooms available. The hotel gave us a certificate for a free night in the future.
