Plane was cancelled -- I have no idea what the hotel is like -- but staff understood problem and took the flowers I had planned for my husband's funeral to a nearby hospital.

Convenient, contemporary, andexcellent value. Great place to stay. Convenient, contemporary, and an excellent value. Two minute walk to several good restaurants. Five minute walk to theaters. 20 Minute walk to football and baseball arenas. Great for those who don't need to be pampered.

Our first visit to Pittsburgh and we ddn't know what to expect. This hotel was great, the service was outstanding and rooms were large. The shuttle service brought us were ever we wanted to go and did a nice job of making recommendations of places to visit and eat. We took our family and it was perfect. The breakfast was very good. We would defintely recommend to anyone.

Being a former resident of Pittsburgh, I had actually never stayed in a hotel before. Coming back for a wedding, it was my first time making a hotel reservation in my former city. I decided on the Courtyard Marriott because of it's location but was quite impressed with the hotel. The staff including the valet were very helpful and the hotel was gorgeous! The rooms are a perfect size and very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

"I had just arrived at the hotel after a very long trip from Texas. I had to drive from San Antonio to Atlanta over night, catch a flight to Pittsburgh at 9am. I was over-tired and had to quickly shower and change to head to my engagement. When I arrived at the desk, not one of the three agents greeted me with a smile or hello, one in fact raised her eyebrow at me and treated me like I was a second class citizen. I was dressed in flip flops, cargo shorts and a 2-day old t-shirt with a heavy shadow as I could not shave or shower for 2-days."

My overall experience at the Courtyard was very pleasant. The gentleman who checked me in at the front desk could have been a bit friendlier but the valet staff more than made up for it. I wasn't thrilled by the overnight parking rate but the fact that we had in/out privileges made up for it and I never had any problem requesting my car. Our room was lovely and we were able to walk to any number of restaurants as well as Point State Park and the Andy Warhol Museum. Penn Brewery and the Strip District were just a short car drive away as well.

Location, cleanliness, restaurant was excellent (including staff). Staff not that friendly and we expected valet parking to include taking bags to room for us. The only complaint we had was valet parking did not include them carrying our bags to room for us. And for $22 per day, we expected that. The staff wasn't that friendly either. They weren't mean. Just not friendly.

"2nd time staying here on business. Rooms very standard, no amenities such as microwave/refrigerator/fruit in lobby etc. You want it, you pay, even for the bottled water in the room. Don't expect a room with a view of the city. "

The Pittsburgh Downtown Marriott Courtyard was a very comfortable, pleasant place to stay while visiting Pittsburgh. The room was good-sized and my 6'5 son appreciated the 17' high ceiling! which was quite unique. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the servers were friendly and accommodating. We also made use of the shuttle service around town. We did wish that they had an indoor pool. Only two negative things: the desk staff gave us a map of restaurants within walking distance, marked on a map our choice, but marked the wrong place and we ended up walking about 3 times further than necessary. Everyone else was friendly and we would stay there again.

Helpfulness of the front desk. The front desk personnel were very helpful. I also enjoyed the attached restaurant, Sonoma. Excellent wine list and great food.

This was just a little weekend getaway for my husband and I and we were just looking for something downtown to be near all the attractions we wanted to visit. The hotel turned out to be perfectly located. We walked everywhere, but even when we did need our car we had no problems at all getting our car from the valet. The room was very spacious and quiet. Even though there was a volleyball tournament in town and several of the teams were staying there it was still very enjoyable and relaxing.

The Courtyard in downtown Pittsburgh is a great place to stay. With in walking distance to Mellon Arena, downtown shopping, Point State Park, Ft Pitt site, and downtown businesses. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. As a woman traveling alone, I felt quite safe. I appreciated the large closet, and the iron and ironing board. The desk was large with an extension. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. I will not hesitate to stay at the Courtyard Pittsburgh Downtown during my next trip to Pittsburgh.

This hotel was clean and neat. The room was comfortable and pleasing. The towels were rough. The location of the hotel is right downtown so not a lot to walk to at night.
