This hotel is in a great location! Short, very short walking distance to French Quarter. You basically walk across Canal St. and you are there!! If you are looking for a cozy hotel, this is not the place for you. This hotel is clean, staff is great, but decor is very basic. Great value! Make sure they remove the fee breakfast charge from your bill.

I felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for at this hotel. I found the breakfast wait staff friendly but a bit disorganized.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast left lots to be desired. Short on atmosphere. The parking costs are the killer $ * + tax per day. Close to Bourbon St and The French Quarter. Best value St Charles ave Trolley ride. Don't rent a car if you don't have to.. Otherwise acceptable value all things considered.. Freindly and courteous staff ,all very helpful. travel website best deal . Saved me over *bucks.

This hotel features clean, quiet rooms and comfortable beds with a nice buffet breakfast available at a reasonable price.

Have never had anything but outstanding service from this hotel. The staff is always ready to help and go out of the way to make your stay enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to others. 5 star service at 3 star price.

Clean and quiet. Iron, hairdryer did not work. Some staff were not friendly. Hotel room was clean, quiet, and conveniently located. However, some services were poor. When I arrived, no one was there to valet my car. I had to unpack and settle into my room before I could find the valet. When I had a few hours to check out of my room, someone knocked on my door just to ask if I was checking out, which I found quite rude.

"Listed this hotel as having parking paid for. It was not. An extra $24 per night. Valet parking service took 45 minutes to get our car and it wasn't even busy. Rooms are small, the TV is small and there are no safes in the rooms. I wasn't very satisfied with this hotel. The people are friendly but not very helpful."

Location. Interior rooms with no windows out, no swimming pool. Arrival during busy game day was hectic.Unlike most examples of this chain, however, they do have bellhop service. That said, they didn't feel it necessary to help open the door for travelers with strollers and luggage in tow, and there was no handicapped button to automatically open the doors.

I was in town for a sporting event at the Convention Center. This is about a 1.25 mile walk and they do not offer a shuttle to any site or the airport. The personnel were very helpful.

This is a typical Marriott Courtyard in an older downtown location. The beds were fair and the room was consistent with other Courtyards. I would recommend this hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Everyone was helpful and super nice. As tourists we asked a lot of questions and never felt as though we were putting anyone out. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Very friendly employees. Great stay. Great location for walking all over the French Quarter. We did not use our vehicle the entire trip. Far enough away from Bourbon Street that it was quiet for rest.

Location is great. Only offered valet parking at $29 per day. A bit pricey if you only use valet parking once. The hotel is beautiful, clean, safe, in a great location and has a very friendly staff. Will definately stay there again.

The staff was excellent. Nothing. The help was great which made the stay enjoyable.

Convenient location. No parking other than street or valet. Valet was $29 for Saturday. Ridiculous. The hotel is a hotel, no better or worse than others.

The room style and amenities. High price to park per day, over priced. Courtyard by Marriott new Orleans downtown in new Orleans is a very clean and nicely priced hotel. It is within walking distance to the convention center, river walk, casinos and bourbon street. Staff is great. The parking is very expensive per day with unlimited access.

January, 2006
The location is great. A decent spot, only a $5 cab ride to the Quarter. There were kids running up and down the hallway in the morning and afternoon. Very pleasant experience. Inside staff was nice and professional, rooms were clean. Valets, however, left my car in the street with the hazard lights blinking for over 30 minutes and finally moved it when I asked them about it.

The location was good, staff friendly and somewhat accommodating. N/A The hotel is convenient if being close to the French Quarter or Downtown is essential. The Hotel lacks a restaurant. Breakfast is offered in buffet style small food selection, moderate price. Minimal number rooms have actual view of the exterior of hotel at least half are interior rooms with views of hallways. Initial room offered was located next to elevator. Although pullout was offered it was never provided excuse given that it was a safety concern but not listed as such on diagram depicting room layouts. Valet parking is about $25 per day. Few good eating locations close by. Staff lacked knowledge of general area, no assistance offered with luggage. Lack of follow up on part of staff.

Convenient location and fitness room. No free shuttle bus service. Staff performed to standard. Hotel is clean and quiet. Nice to have fitness room with hot tub.
