This hotel was great, including its location. My only gripe was that I asked at the desk if the business center printer was hooked up, had paper and was operating. I was told yes but no one checked. Then when I tried to print out sensitive information it didn't work, staff couldn't get it to work and I worried that it was in memory and would print out later after I had left the hotel.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Due to system restrictions, they were unable to change our room type.

This is a brand new hotel (only open for seven weeks when we visited)situated in downtown Halifax overlooking the waterfront. It is an amazingly beautiful place with an excellent staff. The valet was so helpful with directions - he was a genuinely friendly person. There is a scenic terrace area on the 8th floor - a great place to relax and enjoy the city. The price was very reasonable - it was our favorite hotel out of our entire Canadian trip. Only problem? Breakfast was really expensive downstairs and not very good- you may want to consider walking to another location.

It was very nice, a great location, rooms were nice and clean with king bed a great thumbs up! All was excellent will be back! This hotel was just great no complains at all, good service, great room, king bed which we love cause that's what we have at home, nice pool area, great location and the price we paid was a super deal. Will definitely be back. Thanks!

the things that a person look for most of all in hotel rooms, cleanliness! upon our check in to our first room, the bathroom had a woman's razor and there was hair all over the bath tub and floor. we were told by the front desk they would give us a new room and would help us move (of which they did not help). the new room also had a dirty bathroom with used rags and towels hanging from the shower curtain. i pulled back the sheets and found short, curly black hairs all over. the staffs response was to give us breakfast buffet. the nastiest buffet i have ever not eaten. then the next morning the construction in the room above us started at 0730. we checked in to another hotel, the radisson across the street.

The location and the valet parking. Not a thing. Very pleased with the hotel, service and the check in and check out times were perfect.

Great location, enjoyed my stay. Valet parking only. Very nice hotel, seemed new. Staff very friendly. Room very clean.

Location was great and right next to the old Brewery, where there was a Farmers Market. Enjoyable stay - the hotel was quite new and this was reflected in the good condition of the decor. Great location near the Harbor and walking distance to a lot of Tourist sights. My room had its own patio/terrace, which was nice. Overall,it was good value.

The spacious rooms. Elevator was quite slow. Very comfortable place to stay in a great part of Halifax. Within walking distance of great shopping dining and sight seeing.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were rude and disrespectful. What a negative experience! The staff, specifically two different women who worked at the front desk, were rude and disrespectful. They didn't seem to understand that for many visitors to the city, they represent the first point of contact. They gave incorrect information about the city (for example, how long it would take to walk to different locations). One significant upside is the cleaning staff at this hotel are hardworking people. It is a newly built hotel that is kept in impeccable order. I was very impressed with the cleanliness. But that is the only upside, and I'm sure there are other hotels in Halifax that are clean! So save yourself mega hassle and pick somewhere else to stay!

Location! Excellent overall stay! Both key cards deactivated for no real reason, therefore locking us out. Excellent hotel, especially the friendliness of the staff! The overall appearance of the room and hotel was excellent. Could not hear any other guests, nor outside noise at night, this is very important for being in the downtown area of a city!

Cleanliness. Staff. The quality and amenities were fine, but the staff were not very accomodating. I would not stay here again!

Location looked really nice, light up at night. Paying for parking and woke with worker hammering away at 0830 hours in an adjoining room. Hotel was nicely located and easy to find. Arrival area is confusing with little room to park as parking is by valet only underground. Front desk staff was not terribly welcoming or helpful. Room was nice and bed comfortable. Free internet was good. Really not impressed with worker hammering away early in the morning. Would only stay there again if nowhere close available.

Beautifully appointed and up-to-date, beautiful view. Beautiful hotel, luxurious appointments, fabulous view of Halifax Harbor. Staff was very courteous!

Excellent location, helpful staff. Hockey tournament in town. The ankle biters were annoying. Excellent location and close to what makes Halifax tick. Stick to Priceline, read up on the area and travel is a breeze.

Location & comfort level. For breakfast we ordered oatmeal and a fruit cup. The oatmeal was instant and the fruit cup was frozen and canned fruit. The level of this hotel should not serve instant oatmeal and frozen and canned fruit in their fruit cup, for breakfast. We were terribly disappointed and would not eat breakfast there again. The fruit cup was $4.50 and each serving of oatmeal was $4.50. Quite a mark-up on instant oatmeal packets. BTW no pets are allowed in this hotel which limits it's convenience for us.

Like the downtown location and the pool. Room layout, the king bed took too much of the room's space. Great for it's location. Staff where excellent, valet parking a bonus.

Very clean and centrally located. Unable to order pay per view. I was impressed with the newness of the hotel and all its amenities, the only unfortunate thing about my stay was the fact that I wanted to order a pay per view event but could not. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!
