Front Desk personnel was very pleasant, and helpful. Was not happy about the Parking; both times, the one lot was full, and I had to go (alone) to the basement parking, which was further and felt a little unsafe. Found the Bed to be very unconfortable. Otherwise, the location is good, and the price was not bad.

Great room, well appointed, with a nice urban view. House cleaning bothered me twice before 10 AM on check out day (check out at noon). This is a great downtown hotel in Grand Rapids, MI. Although it's a Courtyard by Marriott, the appointments were relatively more comparable to a mid level city hotel. The room had a nice queen size bed, a comfortable sofa, a desk (wired Internet only, and no power strip), and a nice LCD TV with high deficiency (to see the Red Wings lose the cup, sadly). The rest of the hotel was also reasonably nice. They charge $11/day for parking, according to the sign age, but I don't think they actually charged me. At the Priceline rate, this was an outstanding place.

The hotel has a great location in downtown Grand Rapids. The hotel seemed too institutional. You could hear the city traffic through the glass windows. It sounded like a fish bowl. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who would like a convenient location in the downtown Grand Rapids area. The cable TV was nice. The reserved free-indoor-parking garage made parking the car convenient.

Friendly helpful staff. Parking was terrible, bell service unavailable which made this worse. This hotel met basic needs while on business travel and provided free high-speed internet access.
