Front Desk Lady was very nice, professional and helpful. She indentified a place for meals and assited with my cell phone charge while I went for food. She let me take the charger to my room overnight for additional charge. That was very nice of her to assist me. You know how difficult it is when your cell phone is not working while traveling!~

Free internet. No fridge and microwave. Good for the price, but far from the metro.

My wife and I spent a tourist weekend in DC and stayed here - we visit the Smithsonians ~2-3X per year. Although hotel location is 8-10 blocks from the nearest Metro subway stop, the front desk very competently coordinates the use of several van shuttles to/from Metro and nearby restaurants. For this and other requests, the desk staff were helpful and courteous. Many good choices of restaurants and pubs within 4 blocks of hotel for both couples and families. Breakfast selections at the hotel were also very good and saved us from having to find an open cafe on/near the National Mall which is quite difficult on a weekend day. Would stay at this location again. Only negative: small flashing light on in-room smoke detector was a tad annoying.

I was in town for business and found this hotel to be a great location to shops and restaurants at Crystal City Shops, Arlington Old Town and a short drive or Metro to DC. If you stay here, you will not be doing wrong. You can take a 4-6 block walk to dining or fun. Easy to get in and out.

Nice room and site. However, when visiting DC someone should warn you that there are 3 different Marriots in the neighborhood, this being the farthest from the Metro (though they have a shuttle to take you and pick you up). Room was neat, clean and comfortable and the staff was cordial. I returned to the hotel a week later and they were very patient in taking care of a tired customer and 1 AM who had to leave at 4:30 AM.

Washington DC was a short stop in our vacation itinerary and we found the Courtyard to be an excellent value for this purpose. It is less than two miles from the Crystal City Metro station, a very walkable distance, or take the hotel's courtesy van if time or weather is an issue. Our room was larger than others we have stayed in, especially considering the discount price we paid. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, from the front desk staff to the guy in the parking garage. The room was clean and in good condition. The kids loved it too!

We checked in quickly and easily. Our room was on the 10th floor. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. There was some noise from the hallway from the housekeepers in the morning. We went to the pool - the room the heated pool was in was cold, but the pool was warm. The pool itself could use an update, but it was bigger than expected. The whirlpool was hot. There was a life guard. We took the hotel van to the nearby metro station. It was easy to use the van to get to and from the station. The staff was pleasant. There are many sightseeing spots nearby. For example, the Lincoln Memorial is less than 4 miles by car. We ordered pizza and had it delivered from an outside vendor - for security reasons they are not allowed to go to the rooms so we met them in the lobby. The hotel room service menu was limited and didn't offer much for kids. Fortunately, there are several places that deliver nearby (such as Domino's, Papa Johns, Marios, etc.)Overall, it was a great stay and great value for the price with an excellent location for visitors in the DC area.

I stayed here for a meeting that was held at the Hilton which is next door (the Hilton was out of rooms when I tried to make my reservation). I was very pleased with my stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was great... best hotel bed on which I have slept. I had a good, reliable wireless internet connection (which was free) throughout my 4-night stay. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. The hotel is very convenient to Reagan National, and the hotel shuttle runs frequently. The only thing that was merely okay was the food. The breakfast bar had a lot of options but the food wasn't particularly spectacular. The room service and restaurant dinner menu were limited. Overall, though, a great stay. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here, it was relatively quiet even though there was construction across the street. The food in the restaurant was limited and expensive, but that is completely normal for a hotel restaurant. The pool is small but functional. They do have WiFi in the rooms despite some lack of clarity on that subject on their web site.

METRO location is a short walk through the underground mall. Very safe neighborhood. Key required for entry through mall.

No frills but a clean room with reasonably polite service at a reasonable cost. Very conveniently located to Washington DC tourist attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Can pick-up a cab next door at the Hyatt or the Metro just up the road. Parking is 12/day. Good place to stay if in the DC area for a few days.

The room and hotel overall was nice, clean and safe. I did not like paying for parking.

I arrived at 1 am - there was no wet bar in the hotel room and no room service and no restaurants near by. This hotel is not ideal for a business traveler. The hotel staff is incredibly rude. At 2 am, the person in the room next to me was smoking a cigar (in a nonsmoking room). I called the front desk, no one answered. I went down to the front desk, no one was there. I went back to my room and called the main number, no one could help me. I called the front desk again and 45 minutes later, they told me I could switch rooms, butcould nothelp me move my stuff andwould nottell the person to stop smoking his cigar.

"The bed was the best hotel bed I've ever slept in. The room was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had a large desk and reliable wireless internet. The travel-size shampoo and conditioner provided was from Bath & Body Works! It looked so new there, even the bathroom was spacious. Shuttle was fast and reliable. Overall, the hotel alone was worth the trip to DC."
