the pool had scum and stuff floating in it, the bathroom wasn't cleaned prior to our check in. the breakfast is 9.95 per person and 4.95 for children. too much money for this precooked breakfast, the hotel was hard to find, the street "bams" was not marked well. noisy and no elevator. will not stay again. for 122.00 it was not what is expected for a courtyard marriott.

It seemed clean. Tiny room, bedding as upscale but it was not. This is a 2 star hotel. You will be disappointed.

Excellent shopping and dining in close walking distance.

The manager responded well to our complaints regarding the desk clerk. The desk clerk was extremely rude and difficult. She completely spoiled our stay. This hotel was just good not great. The exterior and the pool were very nice but I would not say the rooms merits 3 stars. When we first arrived, the desk clerk was fine. We were three families traveling together. All 3 rooms were handicapped, accessible rooms, which was fine, except our room was not equipped with a bathtub. It had a shower room as opposed to a standard bathroom. In addition, there was an odd chemical cleaner smell that was quite strong. Because of the smell and because we have a small child who bathes, we asked to be moved to a different room. We didn't think it would be a big deal but, now the clerk was extremely rude. She responded that she could not give us a different room because booked 2 double beds and there were no other rooms with double beds. We said we didn't care about the beds, we just wanted a bathtub for our child. We then went down to the lobby to speak to her again. Same response. We said we'd never had difficulty before with any booking. Every hotel we've ever booked had asked us what kind of room (Queen or King bed) we wanted or switched if necessary no problem. We then asked if the manager could be contacted. She responded I can't call the manager but I can call the police. We were flabbergasted to say the least. Three middle aged women and a toddler at the front desk with a customer service issue were being threatened with arrest! She said we were disrupting the hotel lobby even though we were calmly requesting to speak to the manager. This was crazy and totally inappropriate. She didn't want to help, she just wanted us out of her face. As members of our party went to the l.

Came to Chattanooga for 2 days and stayed 5. The hotel was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of my needs. The location could not of been better. Would stay again.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Room was not ready when we wanted it but was by the time scheduled. We were pleased with the facilities, staff and location for our purposes. It was not a luxurious hotel, but we didn't opt for one nor did we expect one. It was an excellent middle of the road accommodation.

Front desk staff really tried to help us, due to issue (outlined below). Cleaned carpets prior to our arrival and room stunk and was wet. It's just OK. Difficult entry way for handicapped guests, no elevator, high priced for what you get. Not up to Courtyard by Marriott standards I've seen elsewhere.

Our trip was pretty nice. The hotel was currently under construction but very quiet. However, the construction trucks were very loud around 6:00 AM in the morning. My wife called the front desk to report the noise. The hotel didn't have an elevator. That's not to much of a problem, but I would have liked to know that before I got there. Also, I was alerted by the hotel that I could have benefited from a AAA discount had I booked with them instead of Orbitz. I wasn't aware I could have used my AAA card with your service. The hotel clerk advised me I would have possibly saved about $15 per day.

Location. The room was cold and clammy. Nicely updated hotel.

The hotel was really easy to find. Right by a nice mall and plenty of restaurant choices. Although it was a little far from the Chattanooga attractions, it was close enough that it didn't cause me a lot of trouble. The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. I was very excited until I went to by room. The stairwell smelled like cat urine or unclean cat litter. Then the room looked nothing like whats advertised on their site. Maybe I looked at the wrong room. But it was small and it had too much furniture in it and was oddly arranged. There was a pull out sofa, a king sized bed, and small table, and dresser in a room that was sized for at most a queen bed and a dresser. I didn't have a good night sleep because the fire alarm like flashed all night and scared my daughter when she woke up during the night. The front desk attendant told me that was normal, but I've never experienced that before. In all the staff and location was good, but the room was a disappointment.

Great staff. No elevator. The staff was excellent. The room was somewhat small, but it was clean, and I could tell it was very recently remodeled. The only real downside was that there was no elevator to the second floor, but we were offered help carrying our luggage upstairs. Staff worked hard to please their customers.

EVERYTHING WAS OK FOR MY SHORT STAY. however, had to go to desk to ask for a wakeup call, which was 5 minutes late.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The sink was clogged. This hotel did deserve a 3-star.It was very clean. The bed was very clean. A hotel bed is what I inspect when I go out of town, because I do not like to see stains of any kind on sheets that I have to sleep on. This hotel passed my inspection with flying colors.

We only had a short stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Chattanooga, but the room was clean and comfortable. The pool area is very inviting, with plenty of places to just sit and have coffee in the morning. The location was good, with access to many food and shopping places. However, no need to leave for breakfast, as the on site breakfast is very nice and a great value!

Free coffee and tea in lobby. No free breakfast. A well maintained building, reasonably spacious rooms, but it would have been better with a complimentary continental breakfast.

I will stay here again and will recommend this location to others.

Close to several good restaurants. A good-enough hotel but not the usual courtyard ambiance. Clean and well maintained.
