The hotel had a very unpleasant odor (cleaning products?). It looked like an old hotel that they attempted to renovate (rusty handle on toilet, etc.). When I unwrapped a glass for water, there was lipstick on the glass!!!!

Super clean; very friendly staff; located in the heart of town! Awesome place! We had to leave! The hotel is well equipped with everything. The staff was awesome. Our room was huge! The TV and computer hook-up worked perfectly. Shower was clean, water pressure was perfect. Coffee maker, hair dryer in room. Glass was not of plastic cups. When they heard we encountered trouble on our drive, the lovely counter help gave us a courtesy breakfast at their clean and huge breakfast buffet. This Courtyard Marriott is really quite lovely. Stay there with no worries. Also, their pool and other public facilities were perfectly clean and very well maintained.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The problem I had was a noisy air conditioner. I complained and a maintenance man was up to help me as soon as I got back to my room that afternoon. He said the units are noisy and nothing can be done until they are replaced which he expected to be soon with an upcoming remodel. I just think that for the price and Marriots reputation, an air conditioner should not be noisy, and if they are, replace them! One other good thing is that I had the pool all to myself.

"Unbelieveably comfortable beds! Very polite & helpful front desk staff. Can purchase Biltmore tickets here (45.00), which are applied to your Rewards Club. Clean & affordable,$* (incl tax). Brkfst OK, about 7.00 ea. Brkfst cold by the time we had to get up & toast our own bread."

"we booked a king room and did not get one because they overbooked, all other hotels in the area are less priced....we wanted a king room for our anniversary but did not get it....thanks marriott."

The location on Buckstone Road was both pleasant and convenient. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was not complimentary. Room was shabby. The furniture was used, the upholstery on the ottoman was stained, the desk chair didn't fit the desk, the radio was almost antique, the sink faucet shot water at you, the cleaner they used on the tile floors left them sticky, and I had to clean the mirrors on the closet doors because they were splattered with something and the whole mess reflected in the vanity mirror. Very disappointed. Expected more for that amount of money.

I enjoyed the overall quietness for the entire stay. The couch could have been more comfortable. I enjoyed my weekend stay at this hotel. It was close to all of my weekend activities. It was very quiet. And extremely clean. I also enjoyed the opportunity to purchase tickets for my activities at the hotel. This saved us from having to stand in line. I would highly recommend this hotel to family & friends.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The morning waitress gave us some 'attitude' (do not know why), therefore, we did not tip her meager service. In relation to downtown Asheville, the location is truly convenient and many restaurants are close by.
