take a stroll in the courtyard filled with beautiful floral hanging baskets,or sit in the gazebo and enjoy a cocktail or cup of coffee...... plenty of attractions within walking distance.

It a hotel, with a swimming pool, spa, steam, restorer. The cost of staying there for 14 days was to very expensive. There were rooms with siding glass windows for air or to walk out and we wanted they didn't put me there.

We stayed at The Courtyard for a total of 4 days. The rooms were not as large as I would of liked them to be, but everything you could ask for was there. We had a king size bed in our room. The first night we stayed there, we had a room on the 3rd floor, near the front of the hotel. We returned the next time and had a room on the second floor, closer to the back of the hotel. We noticed that the rooms were warmer and there was no way to cool the room off. we ended up cracking the window. Also it took about 10 minutes to get the water to turn warm for a bath or shower. We did call about this and they just told us to run the water longer?! The buffet breakfast was very nice, about 11.95 a person. The going rate really for Anchorage. Over all I would stay here again!

This is actually my second stay at this location on my 2 most recent trips to Anchorage and with good reason. I found the staff, location, and comfort to be very dependable and quite a good value for the money. A very service-oriented place to stay in the Anchorage area. There have been upgrades since my last stay a year ago, so it actually got a bit better. I do think the charge for breakfast is excessive; however, the food itself is good. We found the staff to be quite helpful and friendly, also. The comfort, convenience, and service make it a wise choice.

Allowed early check-in. Good food. High service. Free shuttle from airport to hotel and from hotel to train station. Relaxing hot tub, sauna, pool. High service attitude.

location, pools-exercise room, parking. Pricey (maybe not for Anchorage), noisy seaplane airport. Hotel was fine, very comfortable. There is a noisy seaplane airport across street. This hotel is showing its age. Is near no attractions so you must have a car. Hotel staff was courteous except room service on July 4th was way late. We stayed at downtown Hilton for the business portion of our trip. This was better.

We travel with a family of 5 and finding hotels to accommodate is difficult. The Marriott had a nice sized room and we were able to get a rollaway into the room and not feel cramped. The oversized spa and sauna were nice after a day of hiking. Did have a struggle with the front desk trying to get sheets for the rollaway and extra towels. After two trips down, they finally had someone bring sheets to the room, but we didn't get the extra towel until the next day when we saw the maids cart. Close to airport, but that was not a problem. There is a smaller airport across the street that had smaller aircraft taking off pretty early, but only a minor annoyance. Marriott needs to do the free continental breakfast thing and then this would be our favorite hotel.

I made the reservation for my son and grandchildren who were trying to get home (Portland) from their original destination of Kodiak. Because Mt. Redoubt blew again, Alaska cancelled flights. Within 2-3 hours of arriving at the hotel, Alaska started flying again and they rushed to the airport. They were not there long enough to make any kind of mess. Since I made the reservation, I was charged for a full night's lodging ($139.42). I had planned to pay for their room, but under the circumstances, it would have been nice to have some sort of adjustment.

There's a laundry room and coffee maker. No high-speed Internet, but there is a wireless available. This hotel is good for a business traveler but not for a family.

Clean friendly atmosphere with a nice swimming pool/spa area. I had no negative feelings toward this hotel. I felt this hotel to fit the needs of both the business traveler and the family traveler. Close to the airport and a good variety of eating spots close by

Beautiful view of the lake in the mornings and evenings. Coffee was good. The hotel was close to the airport, which is convenient. However, the double queen beds are not roomy enough for a family of 4. The room was nice, but not as spacious.

Beautiful location by Lake Hood. Easy to watch float planes land and take off. Convenient to restaurants, shopping, airport, museums etc. Great shuttle service. Very nice and comfortable rooms with conveniences. Small market in lobby was convenient for salads, snacks and drinks. Like the coffee and tea made available in the a.m.
